With that said I should probably clarify that i am more of an 80/20 guy meaning I prefer offroad 80 percent or more so handling off road is top of my list. The 701 will do thousands of pavement miles ( I have put 6000 or so on it) but it is no cruiser for sure. I keep it 75 to 80 mph just because thats where i am comfortable on itl Will it go faster, yes it would but I don't love the handling after that point for myself. If someones main focus is off-road the 701 is fabulous for that and will get you down the freeway to the next backcountry road. If someone wants to ride from California to New York i am guessing the Tenere would be the way to go.

As far as making videos I am sure you have a unique perspective that others would love to hear.
I have struggled for over a year to "find a voice or a niche" and many many days I think that i have nothing to offer and then someone reaches out and says something like you have and I am renewed to try again.
It has not been easy and truly if Tim had not egged me on to start a channel seriously it would still just be a place3 to keep my videos of silly rides like a home video vault lol.
If you ever decide to post regularly let me know I would support your channel as well as offer any help I could.
Mind you I am no you tube prodigy lol but i have fun and get a few people to laugh or try a ride they were just thinking about which is huge to me.
Just keep on riding and having some fun life is an adventure it is all how we look at it.
Seriously i had a knock on the door while posting todays video to repo my ktm 300 lol.
I forgot 1 payment and boom they were trying to take it.
so we took care of it but had to laugh "mr motorcycle video maker gets motorcycle repossessed" is the headline in the household tonight haha.
It is embarassing but it is real life sometimes life is good and sometimes rough.
My point is simply on a hard day someone like yourself has reminded me that what I see as part of my propose ( making videos) is actually not falling on deaf ears and I can suck it up for another day and keep going.
For that I thank you and wish you all the best
CHEERS!
2 Wheels & A Tent Well said! I’ll give it a try soon!
@@ejakeway That is awesome, let me know I am rooting for you!
Husqvarna will be offering a "Long Range" kit, to retrofit 701's turning them into 701 LR's.

Jake Whitaker that is amazing!!!!!!
Hanks for the heads up!
You know my other bike is the dinosaur XR650L right?
well lets break it out of the museum and ride that shit bro!!!!!!!!
This bike is light as fak! Can move it with two fingers. On the other hand Tenere 700 weights a ton and is top heavy as elephant.
Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment, I appreciate that!
I tend to not like picking up heavy bikes and i also tend to like to drop bikes as I like the Gnarly stuff whenever I can find it.
I had to help my buddy pick up his GS 1200 maybe 5 times last year and that is a chore with 2 people...no thanks lol.
