Wait, you actually thought Korea was like what you saw in Kdramas??? Dramas are entertainment, not real life.
It’s amazing so many young people want to run to Korea based off of dramas or KPop. Suicide is very high there and the vlogger is right: if you don’t have plastic surgery and pale skin you’re going to be left out.
Maybe do real research on a country before you see it as your “dream destination”.

You are a special and unique person. Your life & soul matter. Your life is very short compared to eternity.
Therefore if you want to spend eternity on heaven after your life here on earth 🌎, you should believe in your heart ❤️ that Jesus Christ is your Savior. If you don't, you will miss going to heaven and end up in the lake of fire. It is terrible so I beg you to make the only correct decision for God to allow you to go to heaven. Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. 🙏 Have a nice day. God does love ❤️ you.

I appreciate this video. An eye-opener. Many people admire the Korean culture, especially the K-pop culture, thinking everything is so perfect and beautiful. But little do we know that life in Korea is difficult. Just like you said, there's a wide gap between the rich and poor, and the standard of living is so high. Even the elite finds it difficult to find a job. This is something. So we should understand that not all things that glitter is gold. I'm from Manila, Philippines.

I disagree with “India is the best” part because there is no best country. India has its own problems, and there are countries out there that have fixed such problems. The problems I personally face as an Indian who occasionally travels to India is
      1. Unsafe roads (ppl rlly don’t care about traffic rules at all)
      2. Higher crime rates than the place I live in (Dubai)
      3. You can’t wear anything short without getting weird or judgy looks from others
      4. They care more about academics than they do health
      5. Not rlly that welcoming for atheists like me (even tho I used to be a Hindu)
      6. Personally I’m forced to go to the temple and do all the traditions even if I don’t believe in god.

Hi from Vietnam. I had a 5 day-trip to Seoul and Jeju island in 2018 (when I was 24). Because of all the K-drama and K-pop things I was so excited about that trips. Had done a lot of research about where to visit what to eat before the trips. But after that trips, I changed my mind about Korea forever. Compared to Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore, some countries that I had come, I would never come to visit Korea again :)))
First, the Korean tour guide lady doesn't speak English and that was so hard for us to communicate with her and I ended up talking with her in my broken Korean thanks to all the K-drama I watched lol.
Second, the Incheon Airport staff did not reply in English either. I asked her if there was something wrong cuz I was waiting for the ticket for over 10mins and she said they had a problem with the system in Korean (Plz noted that I can guess what she meant because the word system in Korean is an English borrowed word.
Third, because of the 2 above, don't expect a lot that you can use English easily there in Korea :)))
Forth, pp both men and women in any age are look so put together but I have to say they tend to follow some typical style (same hair style, same outfits, same vibes :)))) and they lead to the fact that if you dress differently you gonna be stand out in a negative way. I was in a casual outfits of shorts and t-shirt but NOT in a neutral color. My friend and I just went for a walk near our hotels at 11.30 pm. We went to a grocery store to buy a box of cherries and we ate them while walking on the sidewalk and talking. It was really nice and peaceful except the things that all pp walking in the opposite side stared at us like we from another planet (Plz know that we did not split the cherry seed on the street or do anything weird at all and we talked in small voice in Vietnamese). Then after an hour, we were on the way back to the hotel and we came across a fried chicken store on the way. I ordered to go so we waited for the chicken for 10 mins. I know the Korean night life and long working time there so for me there was no surprise that all the customers in the store at that time were mid-aged men in suits. But the 2 mans sitting at the table near us were staring at us constantly the whole time we were there. That was so annoying and weird and uncomfortable.
All that kinds of things might seem small but since they are small so why a developed country like Korea still let it be like that. I felt so uncomfortable despite all the modern and convenient infrastructure there.

I worked as an English Teacher at a Hagwon in South Korea from 2018-2019. I left for the exact reasons you stated. Students bullying each other was not taken seriously. When I mentioned it to my director about what was happening, nothing changed. The student being bullied, changed schools because it got so bad.
I once saw a man wearing a tuxedo kneeling with his head on the ground and hands out begging for money. It was just heartbreaking to see and experience. When I came back to the states, my friends expressed how awesome it must have been to live there for a year. I just say it was pretty cool, but in reality, I saw some really sad things.

As a teen, at first I was in a delusion that India is a perfect country. But slowly I realized just how many problems India has that are yet to be fixed. Discrimination against cast and colour, corruption, lots of deep rooted superstitions and stereotypical opinions (which is one of the main reasons for poor parenting), frequent lack of public response on subjects that need recognition and support, fake saints fooling people in the name of Spirituality, poverty, conflicts between various religions and states, suicide/assault rates, low mental&physical health rate...India is not perfect at all. I loved the way you say 'arre yaar', I just hope South Korea comes out of its dark phase and people realize and change their mindsets. It starts with a good leader actually, but can also start from the bottom of the ladder. You are always welcome in India.

You're really true said of Koreans I am surprised to see that even though you are from there yourself, you are saying wrong things and these things do not happen in everyone. You are a very good person so you can differentiate between right and wrong.
    Just keep it up.. 👍✌️

Hats off to all the men of Korea having served 2 years in Army that's really an great honour. Korea is still really a beautiful country with their own arts and culture, every country has its flaws but we learn to also look at the pros and improve the cons in the process to make it a better place to live. Lots of love and courage to all the people of Korea from India. May you achieve your dreams and live a prosper and happy life. Stay Positive, Stay Blessed, Stay Motivated.
    Edited:
I also like to add one more thing, every nations future is in the hands of the young generation it depends on them that which habbits, laws and taboos will they carry forward from their previous generation. So think what you are doing as your next generation will copy and learn from you, so power is in your hand to which things will get passed and which things will get filter through you to the next generation. Humans have to stick together if we want to achieve great things, after all don't forget we are on the same side. Long live humanity🤘

Not everyone wants to be in military in India, many want but not all. Being a lady in my early 30s myself I am also part of youth but being a self-loving lady I have always wished comfortable and safe profession for myself and never military. Girls and women need to take care of themselves first and foremost, and not even Almighty God can change my mind on this.
