    I really liked the video but would have wanted to see more on how to control the visibility and graphics overrides for phasing. Also, how to use the same settings and apply them to all sections.

    when i render the section, the black walls revert to their original colour..
    any suggestions?

    • @imrankhattak8732
      @imrankhattak8732 5 лет назад

      KINDLY CHANGE THEM FROM WALL MATERIAL BCZ IN RENDERING THE RESULT IS COME FROM ASSIGNED MATERIAL.

    Thanks for the awesome video. But I have a few important questions. How do you render in different visual styles i.e. hidden line? Also, I noticed that you final product is a PDF file, so how did you export from revit to PDF in hidden line style?
    for some reason, I don't have adobe PDF as an option when I go to export or print in revit.

    • @SmarterArchitect
      @SmarterArchitect  7 лет назад +1

      If you render in the Autodesk cloud or on your desktop, then true rendering will use the graphic settings for realistic because it uses the materials setting. If you want another graphic look, then just print it to PDF. I personally use the Adobe PDF because it is included in my Adobe Creative Cloud package, however, I recommend downloading CutePDF Writer or PDF 995 as free printer drivers which both work with Revit. After you download the PDF drivers, it will show up on your print menu. Hope this helps!

      Absolutely! You can render it in the cloud or on the desktop version of Revit. I will demonstrate in the future as well. Thanks for watching

    how do you make the perspective bigger, I tried to follow your video and it's coming out very nice, but it's very small. :(

    • @SmarterArchitect
      @SmarterArchitect  7 лет назад

      Once you select the border of the perspective view...There should be a button labeled size crop in the contextual ribbon on the right. Then re-size the perspective view.

    I did this but when I moved the section box for getting the view it doesn’t show me a perspective and it’s just blank ( there’s furniture inside ) . Wherever the section box cuts it’s a blank surface .

    • @SmarterArchitect
      @SmarterArchitect  5 лет назад

      Sounds like you may need to adjust the depth of the section box

    Thanks a lot! I had been looking for this. Next stop: how to use phasing in Revit.

    • @SmarterArchitect
      @SmarterArchitect  8 лет назад

      Cool...I'll have to add phasing to the content here as well. I'm using it right now in several renovation projects in Revit. Hope you subscribed.

    • @nakulgote
      @nakulgote 8 лет назад

      Yes, I did!
      And yes, adding phasing in this video would make it way more informative. It's a feature that many don't know about. Even the ones' involved in renovation of spaces.
