I hope that the BTS Green Line will begin accepting EMV credit cards when the Pink Line officially opens next month. This is crucial because, if you enter the Pink Line using a credit card (which will be accepted), transfer to the Green Line at Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Station (within the paid area, requiring no tapping out), and then exit the system through the Green Line, you won't be able to do so if the Green Line does not accept EMV credit cards.
Haha ik kom er pas net achter dat jij ook uit Nederland komt! Goeie videos en blijf zo doorgaan. Heb 2 jaar in Bangkok gewoond en mis het enorm ben hard op weg om weer terug te komen.

Thank you for the update on the Pink Line. So many new lines in Bangkok now. I have got used to just the Sukhumvit and Silom BTS lines, don't know which coloured lines they are now (Green/Blue?). Can you recommend a good app or website showing all the lines?
They really need to work on bringing all the public train system in Bangkok under one system. It would bring it in line with other Asian cities like Hong Kong or Singapore
Sir, This is not possible to bring all public train under one system in a short term, since BTS, Monorail yellow and pink line are private own. Blue Line (MRT) is PPP system under BEM, ARL is under Asia Era One(CP) Orange line is under construction will be PPP. chapter. There are only purple. and red line belong to state own
This could and should be a lot shorter. Also i will never go on a motorbike without helmet. Any alternative? I think I saw some electric shuttle there.
It’s faster if you instead take the MRT to the bang Sue station and then the Red SRT to Lak Si and then it’s just one station to the government complex, because the monora is slower than the SRT and MRT.
Thats not true. To catch the SRT you need to walk quite far to catch the train and you loose time on waiting. Same if you switch to the Pink MRT at Lak Si.
@@globaltravelmate Currently yes - the bit that's out is, if I remember correctly, the first 7 stations. (PK01 to PK07). Apparently they were moving a crane and knocked down the conductor rail (which doesn't sound like a big issue - until you find out they didn't knock it down in a little section - they knocked it down for several kilometres - lucky it didn't kill anyone - although it did damage some cars...)
Hey Jerome - I would be interested in the email address / website of your Account to see what kind of price it would be to renew my retirement visa along with a multi-entry visa. Thanks Daniel
So many people and its slower I think the pink and yellow monorail is a BIG mistake, in years to come they will be digging the hole again and spending more to make way for a BTS which it should have been in the first place.
So I take the BTS to Victory Monument and get out to take the Bus. Why not just stay on the Line and go all the way to Immigration. Thanks for calling me and everybody who will take the train stupid.
Thanks Jeroen! Always good seeing you. This is really valuable information.
I take the public bus from victory monument. Costs 22 baht.. Stops directly outside immigration office. 30 to 40 minutes.
On 166 bus now to Government Complex yes ฿22 (to building B) 🚍 expressway now (re-entry permit)

That temple 🛕 is my local one. Go there often 😅
If you stay here, 13 years , you are already Thai bro ❤
What's going on with the high speed rail project? Have they begun the Bangkok section yet?

The pink mrt skywalk is connected to the Immigration park. You can walk to the immigration.
I saw a walkway to the parking, and it eas closed when I tried. Thanks for letting us know.
11:04 Sounds like you told the driver: "One week" Lol.
I just go down Wat Phra Si exit 1 and take motorcycle to immigration building 60-80 baht
No need to walk between stations
สวัสดีครับแอดมิน
Didn't part of the Pink MRT line fall down. The bolts broke. Risky business.
Now the connecting Green-Pink gate is opened.
Can we use the rabbit card for the mrt pink line if we transiting from the green bts line?
This pink line has been suspended for about 1 month since last sunday due to some fault at pak kret stations.
They suspended some part of it and not affect to the part in this video.
Thank for clearing this. So you can still take the MRT from Wat Phra Sri Mahathat to the Government Complex Station Complex right?

stupid...the best way is to take bus 166 from victory monument, that lets you out directly at the entrance of the immigration....
