Sorry babe, I gotta sit down for an hour and a half and learn more insane lore from a toy franchise from over a decade ago (yes I’m watching the whole thing)
Yes I'm watching the whole thing, yes I'm huffing the nostalgia fumes, yes I'm gonna buy more Bionicles off of eBay or whatever online sites have them, yes I'm going to go look through used Lego bins at small local game stores, yes I'm coping with my obsession by feeding it, no I'm not stopping.
I've seen loots of videos talking about the lore of Bionicle, but never have I seen someone be so dedicated as to explain every single type of power in this series.
@@VadersFortress2 All but the first seven rahkshi are fan creations. I'd probably want to be a toa of twilight with the mask of twilight. Basically both light and shadow.
Absolutely love this series! I had no idea how deep Bionicle went this deep as a kid. But now 20 years later it absolutely blows my mind how insane it is. Personally I always liked the Hau mask, it’s just the classic and most iconic mask throughout the franchise and I’ve always found it just the most fascinating mask for its design and simplicity. But it’s long and deep complex history and the mask of 3 great Toa’s (Lhikan, Tahu and Jaller).
I know right??? Back before the Internet when you could only get maybe one or two of the books at the library it's insane that there was this much we were missing.
For myself as a Toa, I would be a Toa of Plantlife, and wear a Kanohi Sanok, Great Mask of Accuracy, and weild a Katana Like Sword and Use a Sage's Staff to Channel my Element through, I would also have a Thornax Style Launcher to shoot Fruits at foes that I could grow from seeds in an instant and have various effects. Been loving the videos in the Bionicle Lore and have always loved watching your videos for the longest time
For me it has to be the mask of restoration so I can fix all these damn lime green ball joints! oh and it would be great in my day to day as an engineer but mostly the lime joints thing
A few corrections and addendums. Elemental powers also grant passive bonuses like:; Water gives high lung capacity; Ice gives low temperature resistance; Gravity gives high pressure resistance; Plasma gives you high temperature resistance and you can't be blinded by light; Lighting gives you resistance to electricity ... And for correction the mask has nothing to do with makutas antidermis evaporating into non-existans their bodies are air tight containers, the elements hava a wider range of colors like fire also has yelow, black and gray.
This one is definitely a keeper. I love going through Bionicle's lore for inspiration in my own world building, and now it's all in one place, thanks! My power/mask/tool or artifact combo would definitely be a Fe-Toa with a Qualsi and a Kanoka disc launcher. Think of it like a fast moving, high utility warrior.
I would want to be a Ba-Toa of gravity with a mask of intangibility. The innate gravitational power would pair well with the mask’s intangibility power, giving enhanced maneuverability and allowing for safe flight. This would be useful for reconnaissance and entering enemy territory and fortresses. In combat, the intangibility would prevent taking damage from opponents, while the gravity powers would allow for devastating blows from weight-manipulated weapons. I would wield a hammer or mace which would be near weightless in my hands, yet infinitely heavy and destructive when delivering blows to my opponents. Great breakdown of the powers and masks of Bionicle. This franchise was my childhood and I love seeing it get the love and attention that you have the last several weeks. I’m looking forward to the rest of the story.
I was more of a hero factory man myself but obviously I loved Bionicle since they came 1st and also Bionicles ended better than hero factory did. While light green is my favourite colour I would like to be water for its healing ability. Staying out of harms way but still helping. I would choose blades like Gresh but use the 2 together like a shield most of the time.
Personally, one of my favorite characters was Hydraxon. I loved that his most potent ability was simply weapon mastery. In that vein, I would choose to be a toa of iron, with the ability to craft any weapon I want. To make this even stronger, I’d choose the mask of emulation, using its copying ability to not only copy others abilities but also their weapon skills, so I could counter any weapon user with their own weapon. This allows unparalleled creativity, and make it so I’d never be bored in my apparently thousands of years long life.
The lore of Bionicle should be a class in schools as for me I would go with the power of Gravity and the mask of Shadows as for weaponry I would weld the Vacuum Shield becoming the embodiment of the dark and crushing vacuum of space
This video is how I found your channel as I was doing lore research for a comic/story that I am story boarding at the moment, your in-depth dive into the powers of the universe has been such a great help and it was delivered so well! So thank you for the hard work you put into this for your viewers. For my powers I would want to be a Fe-matoran or the elemental power of iron, because assuming that the live blood of the Matoran/ Toa/ Rahi and everything is similar to our own make up (as in being made up of multiple elements including metals) then a mastery of Iron/metal could make you the worlds greatest healer where you can control blood flow, muscle tissue, you the senses to see internal injuries along with being able to mend and help with the external metal body armors. On the other side of the coin, you would also be prolific killer being able to stop someones internal organs from working by halting all metals in their blood. Rip off armor plating which to my understanding of the anatomy would be like ripping off skin. There are so many organic and non-organic things that would be afflicted by simply being able to control the microscopic metals in them.
As for the mask and type of elemental powers mine would have the power of gravity with the mask of control. Cuz purple, black n gold looks soooo good :)
My favorite combination would be Element of Psionics with the Mask of Creation because Video Game Creator mode on top of the ability to manipulate ones mind and surroundings like Mob Psycho gives you endless possibilities. I do think this combo would work better for a non-combat oriented build, more suited for Empire building, but still not something to underestimate in a fight as it can pretty much negate most Elemental powers.
I would love to have the takatuva mask, the one that combines Toa Takanuva and Makuta Teridax I feel like it’s the ultimate cheat code in the bionicle universe and in real life - being able to sense the light and darkness in every being
I would want to be a (gravity) Ba-Toa with the Mask of Clairvoyance; imagine being able to summon micro-meteros with perfect prediction. Its raining seemingly random rocks, but they only hit your opponents, not matter how they dodge or counter, yet they will literally NEVER hit you our your allies. Theoretically, you could acutely change the relative experience of time (though gravity) and basically be omniscient. And for weapon, I choose the Staff of Protodermis for even more ability to fundamentally shape the nature of things
I feel like I would struggle to maintain morals with masks of persuasion and mind or fire, something for offense. I need a mask of neutrality, and that's where gravity comes into play. Enclose wildfires with ease. Direct water passages for rivers. Suppress oil fires in the ground. My personal favorite would be to use it for pranks and weigh down certain items like Thors hammer, and only yours truly could lift it. You'd probably help advance space exploration. The drawbacks come with military applications with the entire leveling of armies or cities. But it's a mask that, if used for betterment, could be the greatest achievement of mankind. Also, buddy, I need that 8th video in the lore playlist. This was a perfect mid course meal, but you are getting to some of the juiciest lore in all of bionicle. I think a lot of the final Bionicle sets were a cheap cash grab that hit the demographic but not the fans. And in case there wasn't enough brown on my nose, your narration is right up there with Morgan Freeman and David Attleboro.
Let's go! I appreciate you doing this, I love watching your Star Wars lore videos and now you're covering one of my childhood's favourite franchise. Your narrating voice is relaxing to listen to.
Power: Magnetism. Mask: Kanohi mahiki. Weapon: Axxon's axe. With the Mahiki, I'll be able to create an illusion to distract a foe and use magnetism to remove their masks. Then, like Thor, I'll be able to control the axe from a distance to defeat my opponent.
A set of powers I've thought of on my Bionicle OC are being a Toa of Lightning (using the Kanohi Kakama) and her weapons are a set of grapple claws which she can also use as tasers by firing them at someone and then using her electricity to travel through the wires/chains connecting her to her claws. The fact she uses the Mask of Speed also allows her to gloat about being "as fast as Lightning itself)
I would be a Toa of Magnetism and wear the Kanohi Garai with a Swordstaff with a collapsible staff for melee, a shoulder mounted Kanoka launcher for ranged and a Razer Edged Protosteel shield for defense/Captain America thows and mobility. As for why, anybody who's seen Magneto do his thing knows just how powerful a tool/weapn magnetism is in the right hands and with the Kanohi Garai I would have substanial control over two of the most fundamental forces of the universe. I could deal with most beings or objects by ripping them apart at an atomic or molecular level using Magnetism to control atomic and molecular bonds and generate shields to protect myself and allies and anything i couldnt deal with using Magnetism i would just crush into paste or send flying into space with the Kanohi Garai. The Kanohi Garai also synergises incredibly well with Magnetism based telekinesis/flight by making gravity bend to my needs and whims. Something too heavy to lift? Not anymore its now a tenth its former weight. Cant hit something with enough force? I can now that it weighs 40 tons. A collapsible Swordstaff is both a spear and sword in one which covers a variety of close ranged attacks, the kanoka launcher is just incredible in terms of utility because of the sheer variety of ammunition and the shield is just a tool/weapon utility covering both defensive and offensive uses and due to my magnetic powers I can wield it like Captain America by chucking it at enemies and then summoning it back. It can also be used to fly allies around in a pinch. Overall a well round Toa with a plethora of utility and immense power and very few weaknesses that cant be accounted for using my arsenal.
I can’t stress how excited I am for this video, there’s very little actual knowledge about how powerful the Toa actually are, I genuinely believe they are some of the most powerful beings in science fiction, especially when considering the upper echelon of toa or even the great spirits.
I think a toa of shadow would be interesting. With the mask of healing acting as a constant reminder that though the power of shadow is destructive in nature, the duty of a toa is to protect life. For the weapon I would choose a scythe, it traditional is a tool rather than a weapon and with it's nature being to bring death to the wheat to provide life for the people, it becomes a twofold reminder that the toa are not a weapon, and that their duty is to protect the people even if their abilities are destructive in use.
I have always had a fascination with the Kanohi Mask of Life. I even asked for the Toa Mata Nui set from my mom when I was a kid and even more embarrassingly I even call LEGO headquarters to ask about them making an iron man like set for his (Spoiler Territory TURN AWAY NOW PLEASE) mechanic God form created by the ancient ones. Yes I know how ridiculous that was in hindsight but I was in love with this lore. But anyway, he inherited that courage of Matoro and the cunning that comes with being of Toa of Ice and so that is my second choice for my Element, I would choose the Elemental power of Ice. The Toas of Ice where always mostly overlooked by children just because of ones like the fire element and stuff but I always liked the Toa of Ice. He and Gali share personality traits I had as a kid but where Ice succeededs is in his Courage so Ice Element for the win. Lastly my weapon. This one is hard because there is just so much to choose from but I would have to go with Takanuva's, the Toa of Light, Weapon the Staff of Light! Yes he received a stronger version at one point but nothing beats the twin light staffs, he even chose them over the Power Lance. And it's the same his ingenuity and commitment and courage, they all made me admire him more. Especially in his later endeavors, I don't want to go into spoilers. He really gets more awesome as his life goes on. But those are my choices, the Mask of Light, the Elemental Powers of Ice and the Twin staffs of Light wielded by Takanuva. Man I really love your series and I hope people fall in love with Bionicle, whether it's all over again or for the first time. These stories even the ones LEGO didn't publish and use in their sets where amazing. Greg did an amazing job as an author. And even though LEGO didn't want to keep up with the story many times that never stoped me from keeping them alive in my heart. Thanks Man, truly, take your time and keep it up!
@Vader’s Fortress 2 - Honestly, I was surprised there were Toa of Sonics and would have originally chosen that. However, I would like to take your contest assignment in a different direction and create my own Toa, Kanohi mask, and weapon concept instead. As a music teacher, the arts are a big part of my life. So I think one interesting concept would be to create a Toa with this in mind, especially since I have not been able to find any Toa of this kind. Now following the understanding that the arts can come from all parts of the world, it would be wrong to say there is only one Toa group that could do this; though a Toa of sonics or creation would benefit greatly from the following Kanohi masks (which I am using Māori translations for the words) and weapons. 1. Kanohi Toi Ataata/Mask of the Visual Arts - Toa equipped with this mask are able to create objects, simple structures, and other things into existence by making visual pieces of artwork. The object’s power and durability depends on the level of detail, the amount of time spent on the artwork in question, and the quality of materials used while creating the artwork. The mask also allows the wearer to alter objects in the world by adding additional details to the object of focus. The Nuva Toi Ataata would allow the Toa to be a master of the visual arts, allowing them to create highly detailed artwork in considerably less time, granting the created object greater power and durability. This more powerful mask allows the Toa to create landscapes, greater structures, and even beings completely loyal to the mask wearer. The mask wearer can also manifest specific materials they wish to use for their artwork out to thin air. Toa equipped with either version of the Toi Ataata are equipped with battle versions of art tools; such as sculpture’s hammer and chisel, or a painter’s pallete (as a shield) and a paintbrush staff (like what Baby Bowser uses in Super Mario Sunshine). 2. Kanohi Toi Korero/Mask of the Spoken Arts - Toa equipped with this mask are masters of poetry and word-smithing; able to create captivating poems and stories. These spoken pieces can convince others to aid the mask wearer, or hypnotize foes for a limited time, depending on how well-crafted the spoken piece is and the willpower of the target. The target must also be within earshot of the speaker, and must understand the language the mask wearer speaks. The Nuva Toi Korero allows the the mask wearer to more easily control a greater number of targets at a time, regardless of whether or not the understand/speak the the same language, for a greater length of time, effective creating an army of loyal soldiers. The mask wearer’s natural voice also travels a greater distance, and they can read/speak/understand any language they come across. Toa who wear the Toi Korero would wield some form of mic-stand (as a staff weapon), and could be equipped with speakers they wear as armor. 3. Kanohi Toi Puoro/Mask of the Musical Arts - Toa equipped with this mask can perform elaborate pieces of music with great accuracy and expressive detail. This mask gives the power to weaponize sound waves in the form of destructive blasts, harmonies that cause confusion or fear, or melodies that put targets to sleep. This must be done through the use of some type of musical instrument the mask wearer is proficient with. The mask wearer that also perform pre-existing songs about past events to open a time window, allowing those who view it to see the past events the song depicts. The Nuva Toi Puoro increases the destructive power and duration of any status effects the mask wearer creates by playing their instrument. This powered up mask allows the mask wearer to master any instrument they touch and can also manifest any instrument of their choice. The mask creates a background accompaniment for the Toa as they perform their instrument of choice, giving the feeling that a full ensemble is performing instead of just one Toa. Most notably, when the mask wearer performs songs that create time windows, they can make changes to the melody and song structure that affect the events that take place in the time window, effectively allowing the mask wearer to alter history. Toa who wear the Toi Puoro utilize musical instruments as their weapons, such as sharpened drumsticks, guitars that act as axes or can shoot energy beams, or battle horns (like the hunting horns of Monster Hunter). Any Toa that wear these masks must be careful on how they use their masks powers, as they have the possibility to help or harm all of creation within the BIONICLE Universe. These Toa can be obsessed with only using their tribe’s artistic culture, or even more so becoming self-absorbed with artwork produced only by themselves. Or they could be more adventurous and free-spirited, traveling across the Matoran Universe to draw inspiration from the art and culture of far away people.
I would pick the Kanohi Garai mask worn by Hewkii. I wish that we would have seen Hewkii master that mask because gravity can be insane. especially when you have visors that enhance your vision along with a precision weapon that can make careful cuts. What I mean by this is that if Hewkii had the chance to truly master his mask, he could create anything he wants. He could raise societies up as well as bring them down. If i had that Garai mask of gravity, I would definitely be surgeon. I wouldn't need to rely on the limitations of my own body to perform various operations, not to mention I can keep all my tool near me by having them float, thus keeping the room clear for other. Not only that, but since I can lift things with gravity, I don't need to touch anything, so cross contamination is not an issue. Even further, with visor and a precision blade, I can focus solely on any body part I want and carefully move and manipulate them without worrying about making a mistake with my shakey hands. But I can take this a step further. What most don't realize is that gravity plays a role in keeping pur organs in place. With a surgeon's knowledge, all I would have to do focus on the vital organs and I can dispose of anyone just by rearranging their organs. With enough practice, I could do this to multiple people. I can take this even further. Remember what I said about raising societies and bringing them down? Well, with the power of gravity, you can make any building or device you want. Since you are not limited by your physical strength, you can manipulate the gravity so massive structures float. You can make entire city this way. You can also destroy them by simply moving and rearranging buildings. I would fear Hewkii if he mastered gravity to its fullest potential. If he wasn't underwater, he could use it to fly, he would be able to help healers by since he could keeps others in place. He could probably even create matoran if he wanted. This power would be reilant on the gravitational pull of the planet (so on mars, you're useless) and your own knowledge and focus. If you're not in a place where you're focused, a lot can go wrong. If you have any sort of ADHD, this mask is not for you since you would do more harm than good with it. Overall, I would be a surgeon and a builder with the Garai mask. I would recognize the responsibility I have with it and use it for good while maintaining my mentail wellbeing. To quote Spiderman, "With great power, cimes great responsibility.
I now wish for a bionicle table top rpg. Mine all went missing when I moved but I did make a transforming scorpion that lived in lava that had the mask kualsi or inruni's mask. But these videos have awakened old memories. I feel all this dedicated time is a giveaway enough
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to re-live my childhood. First up I'd pick a Toa of Ice, because I received Kopaka for my 9th birthday in March 2001, he was the first Bionicle I ever received. The first of many! Next I'd pick the Olmak mask and Toa Chiara's spear as a weapon. I'd freeze enemies in ice with my elemental powers, then push them into a portal and send them where ever I wanted! Also to make some cash on the side I would take any Matoran where they wanted to go....for the right price ;) and Chiara's spear just looks awesome.
Glad you've allowed me to reconnnect with my childhood! Toa Mahri Hewkii was my first Bionicle set. So in that vein, I would love his gravity powers. If you could control gravity around yourself you could in a way give yourself the ability to fly. His powers could also be used like Pain from Naruto (Almighty Pull/Push). I've also always loved the way Mahri Hewkii's mask looks.
okay not only are these powers insane but I also Loved that some of these masks are just the powers of other super heroes. The Pekuri is Ant-man the Sanok is Bullseye, The Faxon is Animal-Man etc.
Loved the video! Hmmm... a giveaway you say? The element of air seems most appealing to me. You can use it to push and pull objects or beings, cushion blows, and retaliate with extra force. Pair this with a mask of regeneration, and I would be useful in almost any situation- keeping my allies armor and weapons in top condition whilst manipulating air to our advantage would be hugely beneficial. Lastly, I would somehow have gotten the staff of protodermis. Crystalline restrains are stronger than ice, and it would compliment my less-violent Toa nature as well.
I love the bionicle content! Also I would probably stick to ice powers like kopaka. Something about his movement just felt so nice, but it gives me them sonic adventure vibes, too
This is quite the comprehensive list, my friend. Thanks for posting it, well done. Boy that’s a hell of a question. Hmm. - Element: Definitely would want to be a Toa of Iron. As a Bionicle being, a lot of your armor and/or body is metal adjacent, so pseudo-metalbending and metal kinesis is wicked versatile. My mind specifically goes to warping outer metal layers of armor gauntlets into improvised tools or weapons. Like bending the arm guard portion into a Doomguy (or Ed Elric) wrist mounted blade, the back of hands and fingers for BIG PUNCH, or the fingerTips to give oneself Rending claws. Sounds Rad as hell. And that’s not even getting to ACTUAL weapons yet!! - Weapon: Alright, I need to preface this by saying that I am SUCH a sucker for combined/component weapons, Fusion Sword and Monster Hunter Switchaxe my beloveds!!!❤ Especially that first one! Before I even knew anything about FF7, I took one look at Cloud’s Fusion Sword and was immediately enamored with the concept of having THAT thing as a Bionicle weapon. Even The way it snaps together FEELS so bionicle-coded it hurts. I Toyed around with the pieces I had on hand back then to replicate the vibe, but it never really came together. 🤷♂️ That said, I think I would like to wield some manner of blade staff, like the one used by Umbra! Though instead of a hadoka spinner in the middle, I’d much rather it be a mechanism to change the weapons form, Blade staff, dual wield, and double blade great sword. Added bonus idea: I keep noticing the chains on Inika and Mahri Toa that attach their weapons to them, mostly for not losing weapon, but with Iron Toa, the metal from the chains can be used to repair damage to your weapon through the attached chains. Also blades-on-chains S p i n. - Mask: this was the toughest for me, ngl. After WAY too much thinking, I’m gonna have to go with the Kanohi Kualsi, Mask of Quick Travel. I cannot resist the cool image of teleport combo-ing some dark hunter back into the waste bin. (I blame Omnislash V5). Woof, sorry if that was a lot. 😅 Watching through the story again thanks to your series reminded me how much I still love the series, even after all this time. 😊
Thanks for an incredible video! I was watching it while I was building Nidhiki and Krekka :) As for what mask/power I would choose, it's an easy choice, the Kanohi Olmak. I'm glad to hear it's your favourite too! It has been my favourite mask ever since I got the Brutaka set back in 2006 :) Not only does it look amazing, it's so powerful and versatile. Being able to control dimensional gates is such a broken ability, even if it is just one at a time. You could adapt to literally any situation and turn the tide in battle to your advantage. And if I wasn't a Toa, Titan or any other mask wearing being I could still make great use of it irl. Just imagine going on holiday wherever you want, for free! And money wouldn't be a problem either, just summon a portal to a place that contains unlimited riches and haul them back to Earth XD I think the Olmak in the right hands might me one of the most powerful masks of all, truly it is only your imagination that stops you, the possibilities are endless! Once again, great video! It makes me so happy to see the Bionicle community and fanbase still going strong as if Bionicle was never cancelled. Much love and support! ❤️
I'll take a bite at that there giveaway my first instinct would be the mask of reanimation and the staff of fusion. Because it brings up an interesting question about both of these items and how they might interact. Does a reanimated creature retain the powers it had in life? If so it stands to reason if you found the body of a toa with particularly strong elemental powers you could raise it and essentially have such powers on your side. Furthermore, what would happen if you fused a reanimated creature with a living creature? If a creature reanimated did get the powers it had in life then wouldn't it stand to reason that a fused creature would get both powers? assuming its still alive after the fusion? If you stopped reanimating the fused creature, would it just drop dead immediately? or just be severely weakened? Best case scenario you could fuse a reanimated creature with yourself with little to no drawbacks and would be able to keep doing so to stockpile powers. becoming essentially a super powerful Frankenstein. At worst, it might just flat out kill you or just not work at all. Another potential use would be just fusing your reanimated creatures together. As far as I am aware the mask of Reanimation's toll only increases with the NUMBER of reanimated creatures you raise. Not the power of them. so it stands to reason you could just staff of fusion a bunch of powerful corpses together to make one super powerful reanimation with minimal loss of concentration. Furthermore, the staff of fusion might allow me to fuse my mask and other kanohi masks together to diversify my powerset even further. Aside from that, a more simple answer would be the Kanohi Crast (mask of repulsion) because, lets be real, anybody whos watched Naruto knows just how versatile and scary of a power that can be, combine that with Toa elemental powers of any variety and I can see it being a powerhouse, especially if you combined it with elemental powers that create environmental hazards. Imagine pushing enemies into rock/ice spikes or raging fires, keeping air-breathing creatures pinned underwater, or just flat out flinging a non-flying enemy up into the air higher and higher until they reach a point that the fall would do them in. Plus I think that mask on a Toa would be fairly cool and unique.
Ice powers have always fascinated me, and the Bionicle universe really cemented that for me with Kopaka. First Toa we meet in the comics, first Toa I got as a set... Any game I play with ice powers, I relish them, though they're often maligned or weakened, or tied to other forces I don't like so much. Bionicle really grasped me because ice powers weren't tied to death, destruction, corruption, evil/darkness, etc. It was just a pure element. If I were a Toa, I'd definitely be of the Ice element. Would be neat to wield at least a lesser Mask of Light. It'd pair well with ice powers, using the reflectivity of ice or the bright whiteness of snow to blind enemies...though, I suppose I'd more likely use the Mask of Teleportation. Create statue copies of yourself with ice and snow, teleport between them to distract enemies, attack from unexpected angles, escape dangerous situations/terrain... Tools, not sure, either a sword/shield combo like Kopaka or a polearm.
Honestly, if I were picking a mask, I'd use an Olmak (dimensional gates / portals). Scouting? Portal spyglass. Incoming attack? Portal shield. Tough enemy? Portal guillotine. Oh, and free fast travel too. For elemental power, electricity. In addition to smiting people with lightning, through electromagnetism, you can make magnetic fields by making rotating electric fields. And (depending on the level of control), light is just an electromagnetic wave, so possible light powers too. Other sub powers like electro perception for searching for things and induction heating for melting stuff are also fun. Plus, brains and hearts both run off electricity. You could really mess with some's head if you have enough control, or just absorb it all if you don't want to make a mess fighting something.
I once created an original character called Gaiag. A Toa of the Green with a Mask of Fusion and Zamor Launcher which he would load up with plant based poisons. In addition to this he wielded a Toa Tool in the form of a single sickle connected to a durable vine capable of sprouting thorns or coating itself in plant based poisons on command. I had this idea that Gaiag would often merge himself with individual Rahi in order to better understand and form bonds with them, to the point where some would even come to his aid when needed. Still one thing I thought would be really cool is if the Mask of Fusion combined with his Elemental Powers would allow him to physically merge with trees and other huge plants. Allowing him to literally become with the jungle or forest.
Lovin the vids as these have been my way of getting back into Bionicle after barley getting into it as a kid. I think a Su-Toa Metru as I can see that the plasma powers being used by a Toa that needs to be balanced in terms of mind and body as well as provide a high risk, high reward calculation that needs to be done as channeling plasma could exhaust them over a long periods of time if not careful. Plus, bending plasma into possible impromptu weapons or defensive tools could be fun. Who wouldn’t wanna see lightning bend into a bow? As far as a mask, I believe the Mask of Quick-Travel would pair well on this Toa as the plasma elemental powers combined with the ability provided by the Kanohi Kualsi to transport one’s self and held objects into another area and possibly disorient an enemy. Even if one has to be wary not to end up in the wrong spot or into a solid object if not focused. Paring these with the spear once used by Toa Cordak Nikila and you have a combination that could prove formidable for any foe albeit one that may need to heavily weigh their decisions before taking action.
As an electeical engineer I would definitely wish to be a toa of Lightning to work with the high voltage equipment i frequently have to deal with. As for mask, Id love yo have the Akaku as it not only has XRay vision, but other vision types like infrared and UV via the extra lenses. Great video!!!
I wouldn’t wield any weapon as I have Spinax as my companion. My elemental power being ice, cuz I’m just a chill guy as I wear the Vahi mask to go back in time to buy the 8998 Matanui set.
As somebody who loves history, I have an interesting combination to be able to recreate various historical artifacts and understand some of the story behind them. First off, I need the Mask of Psychometry, this will allow me to learn about any object I touch and it's history, or, if I don't have access to the object itself, I could learn about the object I want instead by using documentation about the object, such as a photo of it or written description of it. Next, I'd want the spear of fusion, reason being is once I understand every aspect of the object I want to copy, I can use the spear to make a perfect 1 to 1 replica by constantly fusing various molecules together and apart till the replica is a perfect copy of the original. As for my element, most of the objects I'd want to remake are mostly comprised of metal, thus, being infused with the element of iron would be greatly beneficial, as I could easily work with the iron, and then use the spear of fusion when needed. This combination would be able to allow me to recreate almost anything I want, let's say for example, the molds use to make all the bionicle parts. Sadly, they've been all destroyed, so lego can no longer use them to make new parts. However, if I find a peice of the molds, or even maybe just find a bunch of bionicle parts, I can learn the history of them and how they're made, thus allowing me to remake the molds, and also the parts if I wanted with the use of the spear of fusion. This could be used to remake so many lost artifacts and prototypes form the past, like like lost and forgotten weapons like the hellriegel, or like a larger peice of history now claimed by nature, like the Titanic or Roman forum, or even simpler things like making more retired lego sets. Sorry for lengthy rant, I just really like this idea, as it would be so cool to be able to recreate and experience history so easily
I chose the mask of light. I was just diagnosed with type1diabetes and it was one of the first movies i saw around that time. I was obsesed with finding light within the darkness i lived thru and still sometimes live thru
I like the idea of a Fa-Toa because magnetism is cool "also since masks are worn magnetically said toa could reverse the fields keeping them in place, launching it off their face and cripple any mask dependent opponent.", A Flail would also be a perfect weapon for a toa of magnesis, since the Fa-Toa would have much better, or maybe even perfect control over the weapon's tragectory "one of the flaws of a flail in real life". Lastly for a mask im kinda partial to toa jaller kanohi Calix, or mask of fate. being able to preform nearly un-toa like feats of athletisism makes for even more cool factor. Ive been loving all these Bionicle lore video's by the way, and im excited for the next one!
My entry to the contest is Toa Leo (meaning voice in Samoan), member of the order of Mata Nui and know as the Voice of Mata Nui. He is a Toa of gravity who uses his elemental powers to bend space time and create worm holes allowing him to travel from island to island in moments. He wields the mask of charisma and a staff that is more a symbol of his office than a proper weapon. He acts on behalf of the order going from place to place and coordinating other order members, Toa, and Matorans to align with the order's long term goals. Much more of a diplomat and administrator than a warrior he is proficient in using his wormholes on a more local scale in combat but it tires him greatly to do so and therefore he never fights alone.
I'm split between two. A Toa of Ice with a bow to fire ice shards, with the Kanohi Mahiki to cast illusions to hide myself, or a Toa of Sonics with a resonance spear (can attune it's frequency to shatter solid materials) with a Kanohi Matatu to manipule small speakers to channel more Sonics energy through (like Ultimate EchoEcho in Ben10)
I'd like the version of takanuva's mask when he changes once arriving in Carda Nui, I like this twist as I like to think that everyone has dark and light capabilities even the ones that pledge to defend as heros
In terms of Bionicle powers, I like the idea of a Toa who develops a synergy of abilities to cultivate a certain self-image, with an arc about learning true heroism rather than trying to be idolized. My self-stylized Toa of Suns would: - Be a Toa of Magnetism - Wear the Kanohi Mask of Gravity - Wield a rahkshi Plasma staff, Bokrok Plasma shields, or some other tool that could generate plasma for him This Toa would combine these three powers to safely contain and manipulate plasma. Among other things, this would allow him to create “suns” that he can either hurl as projectiles or else plant as environmental hazards that drag enemies into a destructive orb. Among his flaws would be a sense of arrogant superiority over Toa of Plasma, seeing them only as blunt instruments of destruction.
Another great and informative video. Keep up the great work. For me, Elements I'm honestly torn between Shadow and Gravity as both offer great combat skills. As for the masks, I'd honestly either go with Shadow of i had the element of Gravity as the Fear effect could leave opponents stunned if i wanted to, you know, drop a black hole on them. However, if i had the Shadow Element or even if i still had Gravity, I might favor the Mask of Creation more as it means i can make any weapons I need. Even ones that could compensate for the weakness of my elements or possibly replicating other Mask Powers without needing said mask.
I would have to go with the gravity power of the Ba-Toa, while wearing a kiril. I just imagine that after the war is over they would be such a useful combination for eventual space travel, repairing damage to ships or satellites, waveing to lehvak-kal as they passed by and using elemental powers to make new larger worlds nothing. That power plus a staff would have them going full black myth wukong on any enemy. I have loved bionicle since it started and I have long imagined this toa with the default toa powers making like a dragon ball character and giving them such a practical and useful mask would make them ideal for long periods away from their teammates, just patching up anything they probably crushed in battles.
I love that if you really sit doen and think about it, all types of matoran have a really clear purpose Matoran of gravity, for instance, likely maintain the universe’s structural integrity, preventing it from collapsing in on itself
I have always enjoyed a good combo built around an underdog power or tool that is otherwise passed over. When you opened with the Kanohi Ruru, and pointed out it basically being a flashlight, I knew I had to find a way to break it, and I think I have. So…here goes: Power: Magnetism Mask: Great Ruru Weapon: Spear of fusion Okay so basically the plan is I would find myself a toa/being with the power of lightning/electricity, fuse with that being via the spear of fusion in a permanent union, and become a being with power over electromagnetism/electromagnetic energy. From what I have learned, the only stipulation to beings with power over regular magnetism is that once their elemental energy is drained they have to let it recharge. This is where the Kanohi Ruru would come into play, emitting light at will, which in turn is just more electromagnetic radiation/energy which I would have power over and be able to absorb, replenishing my depleted supply of energy infinitely allowing unhindered use of electromagnetic elemental power. Also electromagnetic power would allow me a wider range of effective influence over all beings affected by either magnetic fields or electric currents. And of course my Ruru would be the dark blue version. Because with power over electromagnetism I would have enough Bitcoin to afford it.
53:00 ima have to choose the kakama nuva mask. There’s so much physical utility to it. I would use the speed to test my enemies patience and bait them to reveal what powers they possess. After measuring their power and abilities if I’m capable to take them down I would blitz them and vibrate my molecules in my legs to effortlessly cut them in half. A crazy concept I thought about would be to vibrate my whole body and do the spin to win strat. If I have teammates and I can also make them move as fast as me then best believe it’d be the quickest jumping of a lifetime.
Ice, Mask of adaptation, hook blades. Toa of eyes are already pretty versatile, but with a mask of adaption, I can be underwater, and then ice shoots out that would just be terrified being frozen underwater, and also mid air. The hook blades are basically just because and also they provide somewhat advantage if you were mid air and you can just hook someone and I think that applies the same way underwater
Man, I can barely think of what equipment and powers I would use from bionicle. It's ironic since I grew up with it and have loved it for years. I'll give it a try, tho. Mask: Organic Kanohi Iden (Brass colored with maybe slme emerald green plasma energy bleeding into it) Element: Plasma Weapon: A large finger talon-like gauntlet (and whatever blaster is available to the toa at the time) Why: Plasma is a strange and versatile element, while also requiring the most respect. It's like fire but more, no simple warrior can weild it. I always felt it requires a good degree of wisdom, almost like a fusion of traits found in fire and water toa. I like to imagine I would extend tentrils of plasma from the gauntlet or from the back (sort of like the wings from angels in Diablo). Or create compressed plasma disks to throw or use as sheilds. And of course, fireing hot globs of viscous plasma that flow like water is always fun. So, while having horrifying destructive potential, I would not resort to such measures unless pushed to and with good reason. Though there are constructive uses for plasma, i hope. As for the masks, I always liked the idea of living (rubber) masks as they just felt different and more adaptable. As for why the Iden specifically? The ability to astral project while you sleep or rest is invaluable for intel collection or simply studying stuff like Dr. Strange did in his movie.
Honestly, you could make an insanely overpowered combination by giving a Toa of Plasma either a Kanohi Sanok or a Kanohi Kualsi (or a Kanohi Olmak, but that one is pretty OP by itself). Toa of Plasma always have to be careful to not kill the people they fight, so if you give them perfect accuracy or a gap-closer, they can do exactly that.
I really could imagine being a Toa of sonics with a mask of telekinesis. The element speaks to me the most through my love to music. The combination of a non- material element like sonic and the Kanohi Matatu fits very well in my opinion. It makes my Toa character a ranged fighter by using the power to move objects by thought and releasing blasts of sound. He probably has a bad eye sight but his extreme hearing ability covers that. Maybe he even uses some kind of ad-ons on his mask, similar to glasses for humans, to see a bit better. Because of the fact that the sound of my toa's attacks can harm himself, he would create a temporary bubble of pure silence around himself while using his power to not get hurt. The ability could also be used to confuse enemies by mimicing sounds or deafening them for surprise attacks. The mask of telekinesis would be used to easily bring wanted objects closer, or using them as weapons for defence or attack. Other beings could be moved out of danger or perhaps even pushed away. When he doesn't fight or protect the Matoran he uses his abilities to make music. His Nova-Blast would definitely sound like a seismic charge from Star Wars. As a weapon or tool I could imagine a guitar shaped sonic cannon or something similar. This symbolises the connection to music and the abilities of sound that can be both beautiful and peaceful or destructive. As this Toa I would wander around in the Matoran Universe, joining various Toa teams when help is needed or just spreading joy by making music where I go. As a little aditional fact I think my Toa of Sonics would enjoy to be around calm water but would be afraid of hights.
Wind Element with the Kanohi Garai (the gravity mask) with an Air Axe in the left hand (Toa Lewa's axe) & Staff of Poison in the right. With command over the wind, paired with the Kanohi Garai, gives Leroza the ability to fly & glide; able to share this with any comrades that fight with him. The Air Axe helps channel his Air element & chop through dense vegetation or wood; while the Staff of Poison allows him to coat the ground in poison for area denial or directly weakening an enemy. The axe & staff make a formidable combination as they have different uses to cover each other's weaknesses. The staff for reach & axe for up close combat; both can be used to trap or hook enemy equipment. Paired with the power of wind, which the Air Axe amplifies, & Leroza is quite the powerful Toa who travels the world of Bionicle to help out Matoran everywhere.
Thanks man you are making me fall with Bionicles again. This was my childhood. Also can anyone help me understand the difference between the Toa of Stone and Toa of Earth’s powers? I've always been confused because it seems repetitive. Don't they control the same thing?
My favorite Toa would be: Toa of Air Mask of accuracy Weapons: Retractable claws (fang like) He would wear a cloak made of leafes wich he could be able to throw in mid range for distraction or cheap damage. Meanwile in close combat he could use is claws and the power to control currents of air combined with the accuracy of the mask to deflect incoming attacks and strike back on weak spots. Outside combat he can use the claws for climbing threes and the cloak for gliding. Now I want to build a prototype!
I’ll be honest, I love the idea of using Electricity as you can use it for all kinds of pretty powerful attacks and abilities… I’d assume Electricity can give some limited magnetic-like abilities as well but it makes easy ways to manage massive armies and stop threats… but that Mask of Copying is insanely powerful too… being able to copy any ability I interact with, along with Electricity to push Opponent’s to use their abilities or to keep distance so they can’t completely beat me then copying their abilities to make me more of a threat sounds like that would be a major challenge to beat.
It's funny, I've sort of always been 'Makuta Nazo' going back decades now, so if I'd be anyone, it's him. A lab experiment meant to be the next step in Makuta evolution, with unparalleled regeneration, mutation, and adaptation abilities, but none of the inherent Rahkshi powers. Nazo wields elemental Chaos, the entropic energy that permeates all creation as ambient molecular energy. He can draw this power into himself and expel it as dense energy beams or explosive blasts. Also, because ~2008 me was an edgelord, he has his own Mask of Shadows. :)
My ideal combination would be the element of Iron, the Kanohi Kakama, and wielding a one-handed sword. Iron is one of the rarest Toa elements there are, and the only one we’ve seen named in the story (Zaria) was forced to make a morally dark decision, breaking the Toa Code. The Kakama is my favorite of the original Bionicle masks and it’s honestly a bit under appreciated, as Pohatu once used his and superheated the sand underneath him into glass. As for my one-handed sword, I feel it would be a perfect fit for me as it would be simple yet effective, capable of slicing through iron beams with a single slice. Side note, once your done with the Bionicle story series, would you consider doing a versus series between Star Wars and Bionicle characters or creatures, as I’m quite curious to see how such encounters would play out.
Just thought of an idea! A toa of Sonics, using a Kanohi Suletu (Telepathy). He creates a field of silence, then uses his mask's power to continue communication and coordination with his team. His weapon is a bell-mace. A long chain with a heavy bell on the end which he uses to boost the sound bursts it's swinging creates. Further boosted by releasing the sound in the silent voids he creates, like flashing a light in the darkness, for extra oomph!! 🔊🔊🔊
For mine I would definitely go with the powers of sound. You are fundamentally undetectable yet also know where everyone else is due to having both great hearing as well as potentially echolocation. On top of fantastic tactical ability, you also have offensive capabilities by having access to sound blasts that can damage or even remove an opponent’s ability to hear as well. Yes your moves are also super effective against you but I think that’s the perfect drawback for being so OP. As for weapons I’d love Mataro’s Toa Inika blade if it keeps the railgun/sniper rifle ability from Bionicle Heroes which is perfect for having sound-based powers to remain hidden while picking off enemies from a distance
Toa of sonics with the volitak kanohi. I can control sound and make myself near invisible/silent. Pair that with a sword made with one of Matau’s aero slicers and a pair of Nuparu’s claws, and you have a bionicle ninja. It’s also my favorite MOC.
Sonics toa with khanohi volitak, the masks ability should be able to dampen the ability to harm onesaelf with the sonics abilities. I would have a rhotuka shield like the toa hagah's with a paralyzing spinner and hydraxon style wristblades.
I would be a tower of plasma as it would allow me to be the most destructive with what I would do then I’d use the Cano mask of quick travel so I could easily teleport close to my enemies and destroy the weapon or their mask as I have to obey the code that all of my species must follow voice to text does not know how to spell and as for a artifact or weapon, I would choose the new stone forged into my chest plate, so I’m always in contact with it and it’s going to be near impossible to get it out of my hand and then see if I can create or use a sword or spear out of my elemental energyIt would basically be a light saber cause come on that would be fun.
Okay! Here goes my idea. I would wield a mask of magnetism. But not as a toa, I would take a mask that has no owner and use it to help generate power at power plants. I am working on becoming an engineer, and I would use this mask primarily to help run the generators of a power plant by getting it to cart its own changing magnetic field to produce 3 phase power for the grid. And depending on the intensity I could make it become a baseline load handling mask. Other ideas on what I could do with it include using it to make a more improved and smaller space suit which would repel alpha and beta particles of radiation for space travel or for nuclear contaminated sights on earth to help with clean up. Since this is closer to being a common mask, I could create multiple with the help of Ta Matorin to help clean up the really bad waste we have. This could also help with nuclear energy reactors should the mask not be powerful enough to generate energy. Best part is this would be completely clean energy created. Aside from what energy it took to create the mask/ facility. Just in general, magnetism is already really useful and many things which use magnetism can also be retrofitted for these masks depending on the need. That is my entry for the contest! Btw using the Rokshe of magnetism is also an option if I had the mask of shadows to create and control them. They just might be too violent for a world peace dream 😅
Being a Toa of Stone with the Mask of Creation sounds pretty cool to me, because then I could make houses for all the matoran on the island not just the po-matoran, but everyone everywhere. Since stone is pretty much everywhere I could use the Mask of Creation to create buildings more quickly and other constructs too from statues to fortresses, and even beach houses 😄 Using my powers to create a fortified home for all, such would be my duty that brings unity and thus is my destiny 😊 It's basically free real estate 😂
I like the mask of Adaptation it could be pretty useful especially if the mutation it's actually usable in different environments like becoming amphibious so if the user wants to keep the amphibious traits they could take off the mask and immediately putting it back on allowing them to keep the amphibious traits and maybe even mixing other traits in too like claws allowing the user to climb Rocky terrain or even a strong cannabis in a sand storm and etcetera
Personal favorite combo would be a Su-Toa with the Kanohi Rode, The Mask of Truth. Envisioned to be a member of a Toa Hagah Team. With a spear, a Rhotkuka Launching Shield and his Kanoka Launcher as his original Toa Tool, he would perform his guard duties well. Unfortunately, there are many more unique and interesting combinations.
The Black Ignika You've mentioned it in your previous lore video, that it's like a on a countdown, a "failsafe". So I wonder what it could bestow upon its wielder. Maybe all the powers in the Matoran realms are machinated by a higher programme or simulation, and the Black Ignika is a mask above all to reset/reshape or simply destroy it if the bioengineered life of Bionicles goes rogue.
I’m feeling mask of sonar/echo location with toa of sonic‘s powers. I’m imagining using the powers in conjunction would enhance the range. Would be interesting if the combination of abilities also produced pinpoint sonic attacks. Would probably help mitigate the two edged sword effect of sonic powers that way.
Water element, Konohi Shelek(mask of silence), and a Vhaki stun staff that scrambles the senses. Manipulating steam and fog to disorient enemies and sense their positions, and using the mask of silence to compound these effects, while striking my enemies repeatedly with the staff to complete their disorientation until they are defeated.
I’d go with a Toa of Fire with the mask of Gravity and a dark red and bright copper/brass color combo, for the weapon a broad sword that can be ridden like a hover board.
As a lore nerd I'd want to be best equipped to study reality. So I'd want a Kanohi Olmak and Psionics. This way I can move between universes both to study other realities and to evade obstacles in my own as well as transport threats to other places. With psionics I'd have unparalleled charisma to glean information, extract information from unsuspecting minds and persuade people to grant me access to areas where I can learn more. In a pinch I can also weave illusions into the minds of threats or detect potential hidden threats. I can also use telekinesis to lift heavy objects out of the way. For tools I'd probably just roll with something simple like hooks or claws. Something that can be a weapon if need be but is more for traversal. Allowing me to access places higher up or lower down with less risk of injury.
For my Bionicle power fantasy, I'd start out as a Toa with any mask or element. I'd search for the Mask of Biomechanics and the Nui Stone. With those I could potentially hijack the Bohrok swarms and control them. Using the Bohrok swarms I'd have them scour the Matoran Universe for the Golden Armor parts and upon collecting them I'd use the Bohrok to incite a massive battle with the Rakshi so that I could then use the Golden Armor to disable them and gain all 42 Rakshi powers. With the Nui Stone, Rakshi Powers, and an army of Bohrok at my disposal I would lay siege on Artahka in order to obtain the Mask of Creation. Once I have the Mask of Creation, all 42 Rakshi powers, and the Nui Stone, I would effectively become the most powerful and versatile being in the Matoran Universe and would be free to do practically anything.-As an additional note, with my new collective power I could then use the Mask of Time as a viable tool and use it in conjunction with the One Time Use Mask that recharges my elemental energy, by recharging my energy then using the Vahi to restore the Mask to before it was used, thus allowing me to recharge again. However that all hinges on if I can obtain the Nui Stone at the start and if the Golden Armor pieces are accessible. Without those things, I would instead want the Tryna and seek out the graves of various Toa or beings with versatile or useful abilities in order to revive them as powerful minions. As a more balanced build meant for fun though, I would be a Toa or Iron and wield a Mask of Magnetism. Summoning metal that I could manipulate with more versatility by combining my Elemental and Mask powers. Preferably I'd manipulate the metal in the form of iron sand to provide even more freedom in how I use it. Loved the video and can't wait for the Destiny Wars
I know Kanohi Kaukau is underpowered, but I'd love to see it used more creatively. I think a Toa of Ice with a Kaukau would be sick. Maybe he could create an icy shell to protect himself or possibly go into cryostasis. Perhaps he was one of the Toa of Ice who helped defeat the Kanohi Dragon
Ive always had a fascination with the Iron Element so Id choose that to be my element. As for the Mask, Ive got a few favorites but Id probably choose either the Kanohi Matatu, the Mask of Telekinesis, or the Kanohi Garai, the Mask of Gravity. For the weapon Id probably choose either a swordwhip (think Ivy's sword from Soul Calibur) or a mace that could extend into a flail. For either choice, the Iron elemental power could be used to extend/retract the weapon between forms making them unoreditduting combat.
Sorry babe, I gotta sit down for an hour and a half and learn more insane lore from a toy franchise from over a decade ago (yes I’m watching the whole thing)
Same bro
For the culture boys
I'm working on another bionicle video that's 13 hours long. I've restarted many times now after losing my place 😢
It's called being an aristocrat
I've seen loots of videos talking about the lore of Bionicle, but never have I seen someone be so dedicated as to explain every single type of power in this series.
Just as I was making my first bionicle video I saw your bionicle lore. What a coincedence! Absolutely love the bionicle vids! Keep them coming!
Toa brothers!
MY BEST FRIENDO!!
Unity, Duty, Destiny! Keep it up brother! Love your vids
@@VadersFortress2 Was hoping for the next episode instead.
Don't worry it's on its way!
Been loving the videos in the Bionicle Lore and have always loved watching your videos for the longest time
I had no idea that practicaly all of powers and masks were so well defined. This all is like tailor made for some kind of rpg
Thank you for all your hard work covering the most important saga of my childhood! Quality content found no where else
I concur to this. This is my childhood and I need this back! Freaking lego discontinuing it.
Matoro was always my favorite, and his Toa-inika form was my first Bionicle ever. So I'd probably choose his powers. He's so cool
We're so back
For me it has to be the mask of restoration so I can fix all these damn lime green ball joints! oh and it would be great in my day to day as an engineer but mostly the lime joints thing
A few corrections and addendums.
Elemental powers also grant passive bonuses like:;
Water gives high lung capacity;
Ice gives low temperature resistance;
Gravity gives high pressure resistance;
Plasma gives you high temperature resistance and you can't be blinded by light;
Lighting gives you resistance to electricity ...
The highest quality of bionicle content on YT! Thank you so much for these! I get stoked when i see content you drop about it all 🥳
As for the mask and type of elemental powers mine would have the power of gravity with the mask of control.
Best bionicle lore vids on YT man keep it up
Like the infamous nonexistent seventh toa voriki?😆
@@iso-didact789 tbh, I wasn't even thinking of Voriki when coming up with her XD
Sick that you're giving away a Makuta set.
I remember getting that one for my birthday in 2004 and I still have it to this day.
I love Bionicles
Hour long bionicle video in recommendations??? Seated.
Lego NEEDS to bring Bionicle back. That universe was their version of a Souls-like story and characters. They're sitting on a gold mine
Not just bring it back, bring it back in it's original form like the figures we see in this video.
Bionicle definitely deserves a reboot in videos games and other spin offs, this was my favorite toy 20+yrs ago 🙏🏼🤖
Lore of EVERY Bionicle Elemental Power, Kanohi Mask and Artifact Explained in EXTREME Detail momentum 100
Thank you for discussing this badass series 🤖
DUDE LETS GOOOOOOO
You said I would love it, and you are not wrong :)
I love the bionicle content! Also I would probably stick to ice powers like kopaka. Something about his movement just felt so nice, but it gives me them sonic adventure vibes, too
Ah yes, the power of plastic. A worthy watch
Dude I admire your dedication plus your voice is really nice to listen to. Thanks
Watching through the story again thanks to your series reminded me how much I still love the series, even after all this time. 😊
Thanks for an incredible video! I was watching it while I was building Nidhiki and Krekka :)
As for what mask/power I would choose, it's an easy choice, the Kanohi Olmak.
I'll take a bite at that there giveaway
my first instinct would be the mask of reanimation and the staff of fusion.
Truly you are doing Mata Nui's work with your movies. May Great Spirit enlighten your way!
Thank you. Please make more!
In terms of Bionicle powers, I like the idea of a Toa who develops a synergy of abilities to cultivate a certain self-image, with an arc about learning true heroism rather than trying to be idolized. My self-stylized Toa of Suns would:
- Be a Toa of Magnetism
- Wear the Kanohi Mask of Gravity
- Wield a rahkshi Plasma staff, Bokrok Plasma shields, or some other tool that could generate plasma for him
This Toa would combine these three powers to safely contain and manipulate plasma.
I love that if you really sit doen and think about it, all types of matoran have a really clear purpose
Matoran of gravity, for instance, likely maintain the universe’s structural integrity, preventing it from collapsing in on itself
I have always enjoyed a good combo built around an underdog power or tool that is otherwise passed over. When you opened with the Kanohi Ruru, and pointed out it basically being a flashlight, I knew I had to find a way to break it, and I think I have.
So…here goes:
Power: Magnetism
Mask: Great Ruru
Weapon: Spear of fusion
Okay so basically the plan is I would find myself a toa/being with the power of lightning/electricity, fuse with that being via the spear of fusion in a permanent union, and become a being with power over electromagnetism/electromagnetic energy.
Mask: Organic Kanohi Iden (Brass colored with maybe slme emerald green plasma energy bleeding into it)
Element: Plasma
Weapon: A large finger talon-like gauntlet (and whatever blaster is available to the toa at the time)
Why: Plasma is a strange and versatile element, while also requiring the most respect.
I am curious if Hordika and/or Toa Hordika can affect the Nui Stone.
Awesome, awesome video 💯
My favorite Toa would be:
Toa of Air
Mask of accuracy
Weapons: Retractable claws (fang like)
He would wear a cloak made of leafes wich he could be able to throw in mid range for distraction or cheap damage.
I would be a tower of plasma as it would allow me to be the most destructive with what I would do then I’d use the Cano mask of quick travel so I could easily teleport close to my enemies and destroy the weapon or their mask as I have to obey the code that all of my species must follow voice to text does not know how to spell and as for a artifact or weapon, I would choose the new stone forged into my chest plate, so I’m always in contact with it and it’s going to be near impossible to get it out of my hand and then see if I can create or use a sword or spear out of my elemental energyIt would basically be a light saber cause come on that would be fun.
good video, though I do think it would've been a nice idea to credit the mocs you used for visual aids
Since stone is pretty much everywhere I could use the Mask of Creation to create buildings more quickly and other constructs too from statues to fortresses, and even beach houses 😄
Using my powers to create a fortified home for all, such would be my duty that brings unity and thus is my destiny 😊
It's basically free real estate 😂
The Black Ignika
You've mentioned it in your previous lore video, that it's like a on a countdown, a "failsafe".
