    Beautifully done, Adrian. It is nice to know that you are still enjoying your SwingTime. As with all of your projects, your clock is beautifully made, and it's always such a treat to listen to your narration. The whole time I was watching you navigate and explain your SwingTime, my SwingTime was ticking along synchronously - exactly in beat with yours. Big Smiles! Aloha. Clayton

    I found your channel more than 12 years ago and I build my own Clayton Boyer clock a few years ago. Thanks for the inspiration.

      @@ShedBuiltStuff lol it just popped up and how could I not say thank you. Btw, do you sell plans for the clock you made with the coal shuttles going up and down each side? Such a great design and as I’m finally getting around to building my deco clock from Clayton I’m stunned by the beauty of your design so I just bought the plans for this one from Clayton and would love to build yours as well. Even tho they’ve lifted curfew here in Oatley we’re still very limited and as I passed the first anniversary of my wife’s death from leukaemia a few weeks back it’s time I stopped feeling sad and just got back to the love of wooden clocks that you and Clayton inspired in me just before my wife got sick 2 ½ years ago so it’s time I think, oh, doh, that was not an intended pun but I like it anyway lol. Again, thanks for the great work mate, you truly are an exceptional craftsman, thank you for sharing what you do, it’s great :)

      @@philipbyrnes7501 - sorry mate. The coal clock was the first clock I “designed”. The cad drawings I did are incomplete and inaccurate as I made up the gaps as I went along.
      So, no, I don’t have plans I could share.

    How thick are each of those wood layers for the gears? 3mm or less? Almost tempted to see if a cricut maker 3 could cut some of the parts needed for this clock. Looks fun to make.

      Wheels are mostly 6mm but some are 13mm. Wheels are marine grade ply.

    Hi Adrian.Been a few years since I commented on one of your Vids..Enjoyed the Revisit on a Well crafted clock design of Clayton..I think that daisy wheel design is exactly the same as on The Radiance? The remotoire motorized drive assembly works really well...Cheers Mate!!

    Amazing Adrian! Absolutely stunning clock, are the materials you used to build piece readily available? In Australia

    • @ShedBuiltStuff
      @ShedBuiltStuff  2 года назад

      Yes most are. Ply from Bunnings. Solid timber is what ever you like.
      Brass tubing from hobby shops
      Micro switch from Jaycar
      But the motor has to be sourced online.

    I like how the electric motor is not at all responsible for the accuracy of the clock. It’s the mechanics that determines the accuracy. I’d consider it cheating if the motor created the accuracy.
