Pure sweetness. ahd i'm not into the genre. I'm more into punk hc hc \ thrash metal, but when a song is good i have to admit. Plus i like rap and i'm a drummer and i total appreciate this semi crossover, and the the drummers part, expecially when he hits the ride.
Matt Rittenhouse What is the first book of the series? When I found out it was based on a series after I watched the whole of series 1 I thought to myself how I must get the books. Of course, I want to start from book one and go on from there!
Yeah, this song sounds incredible on a great sound system. I'm late to the Bosch scene, but have been bobbing along to the opening each episode. Seven episodes in, finally looked up the song.
Bosch is the epitome of a quality Detective. An avenging angel, shaped by the struggles of his upbringing, and the horrors of his past. He is the voice for those who can no longer speak. "Everyone counts, or no one counts."
The horns and cello hits are like old time Hollywood (think L.A. Confidential) and the heavy hitting drums and the bass synth are modern L.A. with the vocals straddling both times. A fantastic fit for the character of Harry Bosch: an old school, hard boiled detective in the modern world with a feeling he can't let go.
Absolutely! Loving the driving drums leading the muted trumpet! That ride cymbal and hi-hat sustain the trip and then the clarinet and horns land us at the end.
Such an underrated song. Musically and lyrically brilliant. Even what appears to be overdone repetition in the chorus is actually genius. Better than any song I've come across, this song truly captures what it feels like to have "a feeling that [you] can't let go." Obsession.
I like the song a lot, and yes... Bosch made me seek out the song. I am a big fan of Titus Welliver, I have always thought he was underrated and deserved stronger character roles. I now count myself a fan of Caught A Ghost, and I love free form jazz, Art Pepper, and Coleman Hawkins. It was nice to see a show where their beautiful music was featured.
@@CryingMoon61 He never said it was. He said he was looking for Jazz but RUclips recommend this. "Bosched it up" is a reference to the show Bosch, which this is the title song for.
I discovered Rammstein through the movie xXx. I discovered Caught a Ghost via Bosch. I was introduced to The Hu Band through a friend. Who cares how or when you get there, so long as you get there?
This is my 1yo lad’s favourite song right now... which says as much about my binge-watching Bosch with him as it does about the sultry horns. Great track, and frankly great parenting.
It's that Horn and base line along with the double sided video photography that prevents me from skipping the intro. I never ge tired of it!! Always look forward to another new season of Bosch.
I'll be forever grateful that my mother and I got to watch all seven seasons of Bosch. I won't forget this because I would say really ok, no binging but she'd say one more episode.
@@minorms I didn't expect it to end the way it did. Breaking up Hollywood Homicide, etc. Bosch PI would be one of the meanest PIs. Come on Michael Connelly 👏🏾
Here courtesy of one Harry Bosch. What an amazing show and a fantastic atmospheric pick for the theme tune, suits it so well. The more Bosch the better. Thanks, Michael Connelly!
This is a great Great band and their first release and associated singles are terrific! Also love the film references to Welles' The Trial in the music video!! The producers of Bosch were smart to pick this as their theme; it flavors the series perfectly.
*The Trial* (1962) An unassuming office worker is arrested and stands trial, but he is never made aware of his charges. Director : Orson Welles Writers : Pierre Cholot (adaptation and dialogue), Franz Kafka (based on the novel by), Orson Welles Stars: Anthony Perkins, Arnoldo Foà, Jess Hahn This sounds kind of like *The Prisoner* , and is literally Kafka-esque!
Bosch is amazing yes. The intro is awesome, the stories are incredible, but don't forget to celebrate the group who created this song, Caught A Ghost. 😉
Nice music Can't Let Go, by Caught A Ghost. Bosch is a real good Amazon Prime series about a a cop and his cases. interestingly done, really draws you in. Also Titus Welliver plays the title role very well and does a great job. In real life he is a painter as well. Well done show.
Like many others, I heard this song on Bosch and I've got to say the writing in the song (and the show) are nice! I dig it. I like everything about this song, fyi!
Now I play the main trumpet riff on my guitar all the time. In fact, with some effort and manipulation of equipment, I can get it to sound similar to a trumpet. It is a great riff.
Never skip Bosch opening theme.
Great song.
NEVER.
Never
Never. Now with Legacy, also awesome song.
Me too
Can’t let go !!
I can't imagine what people in-charge had to do to convince Bosch creative team to use this song but now this has become synonym to Bosch.
This song suits so well with Bosch's personality and in general with show. 10/10
No reason to be a jerk.
Stfu
like a dog with a bone
Same lol
And the awesome photography for the intro !
Who is watching Bosch in this Quarantine? AMAZING!
For the (?). You don't need to know.

Listening to this makes me want to smoke a cigarette at 2am while looking out over Los Angeles while I ponder life's questions.

Yes, minus the cigarette.

Hell yeah Ranger...I got a feeling I can't let gooooo

Bosch's intro is one of the few I don't skip because I like the opening song a lot. Another is Daredevil (RIP), also Dororo.
John Couchman Likewise, but I will add The Punisher.
and inspector Poirot is so beutiful.
Unforgotten for me as well
John Couchman Me too, have just posted similar.Latest one is The Politician-Theme song “Chicago” by Sufjan Stevens 👍🏼 Totally unexpected 😳
I never skipped the intro to "Saving Grace" either.
Most badass theme song ever. Great pick for the show.
try to listed to the "The Shield" theme... ;)
runs with tony and boys in jersey lol
Listen to Sopranos theme.
@@alipontiac This is great, but my $$$ is still w/The Sopranos.ruclips.net/video/YDDkCiUhHCc/видео.html
"The Deuce" is a strong contender.
This song fits so well with Bosch, Neo-Noir detective with that slick jazz and modern back drop.
Fuckin perfect.
This song just grows on you.
George Costanza George I can't stands ya lol and yes this song grows on your soul I love it
That horn. That bassline.
Breathtaking

Bosch got me here... Love this song..
It was this tune that kept drew me back to watch the each episode. Just got done watching the series. Can't get this great tune out of my head.
That's partially how The Wire sucked me in.........opening song. But not Bosch, I read the books years ago.
Matt Rittenhouse What is the first book of the series? When I found out it was based on a series after I watched the whole of series 1 I thought to myself how I must get the books. Of course, I want to start from book one and go on from there!
Jamie Norman Check out his website, about tab, select biography. It'll show you the full list in there.
Matt Rittenhouse Many thanks.
Sick mog bro
The sleazy drums and that piecing horn make this song. Love it.
The drum Is incredible

Thank you Michael Connelly for your beautiful character and for this wonderful show. Bosch lives forever!!!!
Just recently discovered Bosch and the theme song, OMG, I just LOVE it. That horn, drums.....daaaamn...I just LOVE it.
Brings Bosch to mind.
One of those theme tracks you just can't skip...

Sickest theme song. Bosch is one of the few opening title sequences I never skip, no matter how many times I've seen it.
Just started watching it, 3 episodes into the first series .It's immense.
I envy you... already finished the books and waiting Bosch legacy season 2....

Best police series since Miami Vice. Brilliant show with amazing actor performances!
amazing tune, Bosch rules!
Harry Bosch is the man
Beautiful song. I've been reading every piece of Bosch book series since 2004 and I can't imagine better title song for the show.
Ive been listening to them! They're good, but I can't believe Jerry Edgar is such a '9 to 5' guy in the books.. it was jarring at first lol
2020...and waiting for Bosch's 7th season 🙌🏼
And sadly the final season

Bring back the old theme song! Bosch Legacy is good, but it's not the same without this iconic music!
Outstanding detective work, visionary surrealist paintings, nearly silent diswashers and top drawer spark plugs... what's not to like about Bosch???
Can't wait for the Bosch spin -off! Love this song and hope the spin-off theme matches Bosch personality just like this song does.
lovely song and footages from orson welles "the trial"!
Bosch sent me here, binged the whole serie, heard this tune like 60 times.
BOSCH brought me here. Excellent!
