I brought Classic Goldrush. He was 15.hh and was 7 years old. He was bred out of a rodeo mare & he had done nothing his whole life except a quick break in when he was young. The owners did not have a use for him as they didn't really ride so he came to me to be sold on behalf of but I brought him myself :) He has now grown to 15.2hh and he is 10 years old

My horses are all extremely sensitive and reactive and I jump bareback because they are happier this way. I still ride with gear too :)

You're absolutely inspiring. I came across this video by accident, I have loved horses and they've been my passion since I was a kid. I was in an abusive relationship and was forced to give up my three horses who I had to work incredibly hard for so that I could relocate with my two boys. I miss my horses every minute of every day and am trying so hard to get to be able to ride again. Its not easy and I struggle, your video and reading about you gave me so much hope and faith. Amazing pair-- SHE is supernatural and an old soul-- Those knees on Goldrush I just "can't" fathom.. I'd sell one of my 3 wishes to be like this but she did it all on her own with very rough patches- ADMIRABLE!

I've always wanted to be a free rider. But I grew up riding horses WITH saddles. It would be so amazing to do what she dose! Such an inspiration!
The DVD is largely an easy to follow instructional so you can teach yourself :)

When I was a kid (teenager actually) I would have dreams about jumping my horse with no saddle or bridle, but they were just dreams. I loved watching this beautiful Pinto ad it's rider. A truly wonderful spectacle. Thank you.

Sorry, I have to add that after watching your videos I went and rode my little 14hh pony tackless... We are now jumping over 1m totally tackless and I have seen an incredible change in him - he is much more willing and happy and our relationship is better than ever. Even though he is not ridden as much now because I'm competing on my tb, and the fact he's 20, Every time I get on him, he lights up! Thanks so much :)

I've been jumping about a metre, bareback on my 13.2 riding pony, through most of her life she has been shown, and never jumped. So its a huge experience for her, and I've just started trying to train her to go without a bridle. It takes time to get it just right!

You are my role model without doubt. I love that you said "you can take a thoroughbred out of the track", that it doesn't matter which type of horse you have. I have an Norwegian coldblood trot racing horse (the black one on my profile photo) who is hyper, hard to hold when you ride him, just like every race horse. I want to teach him these things, have a better relationship without painful tack. So I wanted to say thank you for this dvd and I hope me and my horse learn something from it! :)

Horses are natural born jumpers with a spring-loaded hind end; this video shows this and represents a great partnership, I don't even jump and I can tell this.

Some of the best riding I've ever seen! The most I've jumped is a metre and that's WITH the saddle and bridle. How high is that? Amazing!

I dont train in spurs. But trust me, coming in to a jump like that with no gear on you need to know that if your horse is slightly behind your leg, that you can get a quick instant reaction if you need to. If you understood how easy and quick it is to make a mistake, and how much it can physically hurt both you and your horse if you get it wrong, you will understand that it is safer to be on the side of caution with some things.I very rarely use them, only if I need to & I never need to kick him
