It’s 2021 and my 2015 Jeep Patriot is going strong. It still runs like new. The only modification I made was to add a Sony stereo with a backup camera on the bumper.

I just got the 2015 Patriot Yea nothing special an it does have CVT which doesn’t have the best transmission.But still gets the job done ✅ and I actually feel very satisfied.
I got the 4x4 because it has the 5spd automatic.

I have the 2017 but the sport se in 4x4. Its nice and I have all the upgrades. Best part is rear seats recline, heated and leather front, and mine isn’t the cvt but the 6 speed auto. I have always been able to drive in the snow without 4 wheel drive but this just made it easier. It’s a jeep that can go faster and take turns without flipping but doesn’t sit up as high. Goes anywhere needed but the sport se is a little bigger and sits up higher. Going 120 is no issue but off roaring isn’t either

back in late '07 I really really wanted a patriot.I drove it and it was just not the most comfortable for me. I tested the Commander from the same lot. It was way too much, I just didn't feel safe. I went to Hyundai a few days later and test drove the Tucson. At the time it was a comparable model the the patriot and I liked it, better than the Patriot. I had no intention of test driving the Santa Fe, but I was pre-financed, and was approved for an amount well over what i needed for the Tucson, and could therefore afford the Santa Fe, so I test drove it. it was EVERYTHING I liked about the Tucson, only more. it even sat more comfortably and had a v6 engine. I miss my Santafe. From '07 to late 2018, that was my homie. Didn't even know they still had Patriots out there
If it were 4x4, the lever is beneath the center console. 4wd is ok, but it gets the job done with the right tires.
It’s not the best but it is very reminiscent of the old 90s Jeep Cherokees...miniaturized.

I have a 2015 patriot dont need no fancy equipment since my smart phone has gps music ect no back up camera needed thats for bad drivers & my door does what itl was meant open close love it no complains here

I still love the patriot. The Wrangler is way to expensive and all the other Jeep's are just plain crossovers. If I were to own a Jeep it would be this one.

So, I've got a 2013 Patriot Sport, with a 2.0L and the stick. FWD only.
This thing is a collosal pain in the ass to drive on the highway. I have to drop into 4th gear to pass. I have trouble going more than about 80MPH period. It's noisy as hell on the highway. You have to manually push the rubber door seals back in place once in a while.
Sport models come with manual windows and locks. That's a little bit annoying in 2022. Sport models don't have bluetooth. My Aux port sounds like it's loose. Sport models don't have SiriusXM.
Did I mention reliability? I got mine from CarMax. I'm glad I got the warranty up to 100000 miles. In 5 years, I had to put it in the shop 3 different times.
1st shop: The chip key computer died.
2nd shop: Alernator.
3rd shop: Wipers keep coming on without me.
So, they replaced the chip key computer, and rebuilt the front suspension, almost entirely on the first run. The 2nd run was the alernator, and the blower motor was dying. Third run, they couldn't find the short that was making the wipers turn on, but they completely rebuilt the rear suspension. We got my wife's Hyundai a couple of months later. It had to get some minor brake work done in the same timeframe...
Would I buy another Jeep Patriot? Hell no...
Would I buy another FCA product? Also hell no. I'm not even sure I'd buy another American made vehicle.
I'm trading it in for a Hyundai Santa Cruz next week. F you, Jeep!

Had a chance to test drive one of these they have that classic grand Cherokee look just minitureized I thought I was ok until I went to pass another vehical. Absolutely no power like none very very sluggish enough for me to not buy it
