With this set being an homage to the original gift set from the 80s, I think they were going for a toy look for their weapons as well, which were all one flat color. Wildrider and Deadend both just had plain black guns and Dragstrip had a flat purple pistol with Deadend having an all blue gun. I appreciate your Indepth review of this set. I got the original one for Christmas as a kid and it brings back memories.
Great review Thundertron!!! I have the mass retail release of the Stunticons, so the new paint apps are not enough for me to double dip into this version of Menasor. lol That said, Legacy Menasor is still an impressive combiner despite his bland legs. Keep on being amazing.
So i double dipped, keep one set as menasor with the dna upgrade and one set in bot modes and the g2 variants so far in vehicle modes, hope they do finish that set.
Might do the same a couple of years from now. Probably sell off the mainline Stunticons and just keep the exclusive version. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😁

Those are going to either too expensive or complete garbage. I went through the KO rabbit hole, when I saw a combiner recommendation about getting the Jinbao OS Bruticus figure. However, once I actually saw the reviews, it turned out to be nothing more than an giant piece of crap. Say what you want about Hasbro, but there's not a single KO combiner figure that can make Legacy Menasor for the same price and quality.
The image intro was long because I took pictures of all five figures in the pack for both of their modes. I will try to make the music quieter next time.

Are you aware this set is done in the G1 toy paint scheme?
Thats why they took the paint off the guns as well as the other things they changed.
Yeah I am aware of that I still would have liked more details and paint apps on the guns.
The reason dragstrip is a different color is because the box set is the g1 toy version were the individual ones are accurate to the show/cartoon.
I've had so much trouble trying to piece together menasor so this pack solves that problem for me
