I am in Japan since early July and visited quite a few shops here. I am absolutely impressed how many top Japanese manufacturers of glasses are present here, way more as expected. I picked like 3 or 4 glasses of different producers with acetate frames and asked the sellers who also had Barton Perreira glasses in stock, what they think how those compare quality-wise with the Barton’s and all of them said the Barton’s are clearly less. Very interesting (not being a professional) and it was my assumption too. I hope that you can add more, variety in your videos, not only the few brands you work with or have support from.
Hi there great video! I was wondering what percentage is best for yellow lenses for general use? Gaming and cloudy days for example. I can't find this info anywhere!
Hello, what frame would you recommend for a wide face size, that is not the JF10, not really my style, but I usually go with the widest frame posible, ex, ray ban wayfarer 54-18-150, thanks and awesome video as always, you are simple the best!!
I wish Robert could also make videos on functional multipurpose spectacle frames. After all how many of us can buy 5 or 6 different frames. Also some suggestions on practical issues like night driving and reading. Which so many confused opticians it has taken me 2 months to zero down on two frames and lenses 😂 There too I realise that opticians do not have a proper knowledge of functional issues and have no interest other than making a sale
@@agnesolsvik Actually, one has to do personal research as weather conditions differ in different countries and also there are technology and choice limitations in different lens brands. If I need, 1 style sunglasses, additionally 1 indoor, 1 night driving, 1 day driving, atleast 3 premium brands, total I cannot buy 4 frames. Photofusion has limited options- that creates constraints. So he needs to think of a package for multipurpose applications. Otherwise I will need to buy 1-2 plain Jane glasses.
The 04 are gorgeous, but the Hideo Kojima is a bit too much I'm afraid. And the 08 are an instant buy... if they weren't that wide. I think for 48 or 49 lenses I need a 18-20 bridge... 22 is most likely too wide. It's a shame JF Rey isn't doing different size variants here. A bit narrower and I'd already have ordered it. Love the shape, the flip up clip, it just looks cool as frack. Especially in the turtoise shell colorway, because of the bigger contrast. I'm leaning towards the Norton or 406 with clip ons now. Not quite the same, but as close as I can probably get?
I'm thinking you mean "simple" design as you are excited and applaud the deigns. The word "simplistic" means taking short cuts and not producing quality. I'm getting the impression that 's not what you intend to indicate.
