I have no clue how to feel about the Thomas/Spongebob music mashup or the everbody wants to rule the world cover, but regardless, it's nice to see random photos of the E2s.

Thomas arrived on Sodor in 1915 and had extended side tanks, which means he was either 105 or 106 (and one of the two was {re}made to cover up his loss). The class went up to 110, if I’m not mistaken.
@@rhyusbrand8311I know that, but I just sometimes think Thomas arriving at Sodor the same time as he was built, doesn’t kinda make sense to me, I like my Thomas is 110…….don’t hurt me
Still surprised a model company haven't made a new model of the E2 with how popular they are in the railway fan base. Plus they have a the as built versions, extended tanks and a multitude of liveries from LBSCR - SR - BR
Well, some railways have made super accurate working replicas of thomas for the "the day out with thomas" events. So... i think you can count them as e2 replicas too.
But then that would spawn allegations claiming the new model ripped off The T1 Trust, an organization that is currently building a replica of the PRR T1.
105, 106, 107, 108, and 109 where the most reliable, due to being able to carry an extra 166 Gallons of water because of the extra side tanks. Because of this reason, is probably why there are more photos of them.
I think that might be an E1, they're basically just a bigger terrier but it would have been rare to see an A1x in Southampton as all the remaining ones were allocated to the Hayling island branch because they were the only locos light enough to cross the old swing bridge
It's so weird to realize you're looking at the same 10 engines over and over. Engine 100 was so nice looking in its original gray, but 50 years later as 32100, it looks awful, like they didn't care at all what it looked like when they repainted it.
Wait if there were some e2s that were alive during the southern railway couldnt they have actually had a green livery? I Will never doubt lbsc thomas's livery again
Theory: PT Boomer built Diesel 10, and he made sure that all of the Sodor Engines’ siblings were dead. This is why engines like Thomas is the only member of the E2s, if he even is one. He failed to scrap Flying Scotsman, due to him being privately owned. (I think) Also, both the director’s cut and the final versions of Thomas and The Magic Railroad are canon at least to their own universe. The Director’s Cut were the actual events and the version of the story retold by Lily to her kids, and the final version was sugar coated by the Conductor Family and told by the Alec Baldwin Mr. Conductor.
Im sure there is more in private collections, either on 8mm cinefilm of slides. I have a few slides/pictures of e2s that havent been in the public eye. I try and preserve all the cine film on railways i can find.
Bad idea. There’s no way in hell to save one of these trash heaps without HEAVY modifications which would result In a completely different design.
