Looks darn nice, I'm almost tempted to get one for myself (nevermind that I have no idea what to use it for, I prefer 15mm for ww2 wargaming). If you're going to paint it up in historically accurate (or close enough) colours, may I suggest doing it as part of the 2nd NZ armoured division?
Just the pistol port on the side was deleted on the hybrid 1c firefly onnthe VC it was welded up but if the option to leave it off is there that's a good thing the torsion bar spring for towing was on a hinge it swung open from the left bracket to access engine doors that question about what's the nicest the composite 1C or the VC is a difficult question I always thought the hybrid I'm building asukas just now but the VC m4a4 is just beautiful
I've just got the D-Day M4 recently. Got to be next to be built I think. Certainly better than the UM M4's. Wish some of the Dragon M4's were more widely available though.
I think it is a very good kit and the running gear/tracks look excellent.
11:05 that's the hatch for the 2 inch smoke bomb thrower that the british liked to have in their tanks
it will look ace painted

Ahoy Herbert,
Did you consider drilling out the lifting hooks , like you do gun barrels. I do and I think it adds a whole lot to the model.

Had to laugh when he said I'm no Sherman surgeon.... lol
Hey Herbert I built this kit about a month ago and this is my first rubicon kit can you recommend me a another good kit
Crusader tank. 3 turrets (5 options). Absolutely excellent.
Great build. Do I have any idea what made the firefly a “hybrid” Herbert?
I believe hybrid means the tank had a cast hull front and welded rear half.
You can make the second turret for it as I got a m4a2 and made 1 turret with a 75mm and the other as a Zippo with a 105mm gun
Cool! That type of kit I could use for my Sherman tank platoon for the table boardgame
Eyy first also good vid boi
Try heller new 1:72 M4a2 sherman "division leclerc" its gotta be the best sherman in 1:72 on the market right now :)

@@andrewnoonan4044 already made the D-Day sherman :) dragon is good but the fit on it isnt realy good and the detailing of the heller is better
UM Sherman fit is far worse than Dragon... Only Airfix could be worse. (and I do like Airfix too - just not some of them).
