I never realized how new and different it was in ShB for the trailer to focus so much on the main cast of chars and with voice acting them. Important chars get short clips in the earlier trailers, but ShB and EW spend a lot of focus on the main cast’s relevant journeys and personalities, rather than them only popping up as cameos to remind players of plot points.
I am just about finished with a realm reborn, moving to heavensward so idk to much but does shadow bringer and endwalker overall have more VA? I’ve heard the game gets significantly better once you start heavensward so looking forward to it.
@@redxblood85 The AAR bridge stuff started slow, but damn does it pay off before it ends. Heavensward is an amazing piece of storytelling and they really upped the VA quality to match it.
Just finished Shadowbringers and that and Heavensward are ELITE level Final Fantasy storytelling!! (Special shout-out to Stormbloods post expansion content because that was AMAZING!)

Post Stormblood/ Shadowbringers spoilers Find it interesting how the party of adventurers we see in the ARR cinematic becomes the designs for the Warriors of Light from the 1st I started playing last year so Im curious how long time players felt about that
The first Intro's all seem to suck relative to what WoW produced... But Stormblood was like... OK? I guess, but by Shadowbringers... They fucking knew how to make a HYPEBEAST of a cinematic. Endwalker's full trailer was glorious too. They've come a hell of a long way from FF14 launch. I have nothing but respect for these guys and hope I can spend years in their game. Shame this video only has the short trailer for Endwalker.

As much as i would like to appreciate this collection, the sound quality is just awful. Especially in the case of endwalker, it is extremely obvious. I rather stick to the official trailers because of this.

The XIV team does a great job of dropping hints and tidbits in their trailers

in 3.4 a lot of people didn't care too much about them. It was more like a "Oh neat!" but once they came back in Shadowbringer. It became hype.
