Number of players: 2 - 12
Objective: Race to be the first player to bounce the ball off the table, rebounding off the wall, and into your bucket.
Components: 2 slime buckets, 2 ping pong balls, slime, 1 table, 1 smooth wall.
Set up: Fill the slime buckets up to the mean slime line. Position the table with the long side up against a wall. Position the slime buckets along the edge of the table opposite the wall. Choose two teams with an equal number of players. If you have an odd number, one player may need to compete twice for their team.
How to play:
Each round is a one on one slime race. Have one player from each team stand behind their team’s slime bucket at the edge of the table with a ball in hand.
If you are not involved in the round be sure to cheer on your teammate and help them gather their ball when they drop it.
Have someone shout GOO to start the round. On go, both players race to bounce their ball into their bucket. To be a successful shot the ball must first hit the table, then the wall, before rebounding back, and landing in the bucket. Balls that land in the bucket without completing this sequence do not count as a winner.
Players can only shoot with their own ball (do not grab your opponents balls). If they miss the shot they gather the loose ball and shoot again until someone lands a winner.
The first player to land a ball in their bucket scores a point for their team and two new challengers step up for the next round. Once each player from each team has had at least one race, the team that has scored the most points is declared the winner. If scores are even, each team selects their team champion to play in a final tie breaker round.
Slime penalties - The losing team sits back to back on the grass. The winning team gets to pour both of the slime buckets over their heads.
