mam in operation selection table binary numbers are wrong 00010 after that it would be 00011 00100. like that bht u have dorectly written 00101 after 00010. please correct me if i am wrong
Does the number of bits in the control word vary depending on the register and ALU bits? For example in this example register's number is 7. if i have 128 register or any other number, then what changes?
nice explanation but 1 thing is not clear why everywhere 00010 in OPR SELECT taken as add operation and whats happens on 00011 OPR SELECT and why we are not choosing operation in sequential bits means as per the Morris Mano and other materials their is only 12 operation so we can perform all those operation with 4 bit also then why always creating ALU with 5 bits?? Please explain?
basically MUX main work is for multiple inputs to single input so here MUX A AND MUX B .multiple registers are converted into single output and these single output is further carried by Bus . and Bus work is to connect the output of whole ALU i hope it help you 🙂

i think the registers are selected by the control unit using binary.
