  • Right away we were finding stuff from the late 1700s buried in the ground out in the woods at this old place, We were out cellar hole metal detecting in New Hampshire and when our first old homesite didn't produce anything we took a walk. Reading the land and following the rock walls we found ourselves looking at a pile of rocks that was clearly a stone chimney stack that had fallen down centuries ago. We turned on our Fisher and tekentics metal detectors and right away we started finding old stuff. Buttons, coins, shoe buckles, knives, spoons were right under our feet. You have to do some exploring if you want to find the old places to metal detect.

Darn, that video was NOT long enough 😢. I hope y'all visit that spot again very soon. Surely MUCH more hidden there. Is it legal to dig out the cellar hole? I'm not familiar with the laws of states other than Georgia 😊
