How about a Field-initiated crash compilation to really showcase this driver..
Why be out there then ? It takes a lot of money skill and time for everyone to be out there just because he is aggressively trying more than others shows his placement in the season good or bad🤷🏽♂️
I thought Kearney got robbed when I watched this live last year. But analyzing it now, I can see why the judges didn’t give it to Kearney. Although I still don’t think Field won, I would say it a OMT. But judges are human so it’s close enough to understand their decision.
Some notes:
Kearney had a better OZ 1 and 2 in lead.
Kearney had much greater proximity in first half of chase, but makes a notable mistake by hitting the wall in OZ 1, then falls back during the second half of chase.
Field has fills OZ 3 more during his lead.
Field has less proximity than Kearney in his chase but it’s a consistent distance vs Kearney who lost proximity during second half of his chase.
1:25 Dean Kearney got robbed. That was his win, and a OMT at best. I'm just waiting for the compilation of "how robbed was Kearney in 2023?" 😂
DUDE just my thought, I saw the Kearney battle and was like: "wait didn't matt field move on, into the final 4 or the final in LB, last year?! How does he win THAT" Kearney had it 1000%
Not really. Dean got good clearance on the first zone, did okay on the second, and didn’t have that good distance on the third. Matt Field kept good consistent angle and distance throughout the entire battle, while during Matt Fields lead battle, Matt Field had larger angle, did better in the 3rd outside zone, and Dean lost a lot of distance on the way to the fourth zone. Dean did great though
Cant deny matt can run a clean ass line! If he could fix the twitchy wavering and pour on a little more angle, he'd be unstoppable!
My biggest question, is HOW did Matt Field win against Aasbø!!!
Matt was bouta be a problem for everyone in Seattle.. I don't think I've seen a more precise transition than him in the chase w Rome
Wait until you find out about Piotr vs Essa in Seattle back in 2019.
@@gooch89 Just watched it, it was menacing how he came out the smoke but Matt's was more precise and was matching the angle a lot sooner
Jarod saying the word 'gladiators' to describe the drivers just sounds so weird. I don't know why.
And formula drift isn't biased. I agree he will be a problem, not as a driver, but the favoritism going on, on formula drift trying to make him a champion
We definitely suck at doing that. 10+ years still can’t get it done. Now what you have to assume is that the completely new judging panel is also bias. Or maybe, just maybe, you’ve been had by the tinfoil.

Yes I’m a Field fan, no he’s not perfect. If he does something wrong I’m gonna call it out because I’m gonna hold my favorite driver accountable.
