WYOMING WATER: Brush Creek Irrigation System

Nestled in the valleys of Southern Wyoming is a patchwork of many large ranches whose survival rests on the precious amount of water they can use to irrigate their crops. With help from University of Wyoming researchers and administrators, as well as those in the state legislature, this sprawling community is learning important methods for water management and paving a way for complex conflict resolution across the state of Wyoming and other drought-prone areas throughout the American West.
