That dictionary definition is incomplete because it doesn't include the FACT that you must have been BORN female, with female genitalia, female hormones, and XX chromosomes, In order to qualify as a woman once adulthood has been reached. If you didn't HAVE to be BORN, female, with all the female attributes, then any Trans "woman" could easily claim to be an adult female human being. Womanhood is a birthright. The definition seriously needs to include the words born with, and list the basic necessary female attributes. I have said this in quite a few comments in quite a few comment threads, and it has been completely 100% ignored , every time.
@ Susan Mason That's one of the biggest issues I have with anyone claiming to be a "woman". I don't think it is fair to women that are born with all the proper genitalia and chromosomes. The things that women have to endure and go through with the internal changes of their bodies to child birth throughout their lives -- I feel as though that is what makes you a "Real woman". People can feel as they please. But I feel as though you take away all of the suffering as well as all of the beauties of being a natural born woman away and dilute it by claiming that you are a "real woman" and that it doesn't matter what the science says on the matter. But instead all that matters is how you feel on the inside that makes you a part of womanhood. Can you imagine if people were to do blackface and claim to be black? There would be an uproar because painting your face doesn't automatically change your heritage, your background, your family history, your suffering -- I can go on and on. Same analogy applies here. You can't change your gender, slap on some make-up and claim to be a natural and real woman because you will never inherit the suffering as well as the beauties of what it means to be born female. Everyone has the right to feel, dress as they please. Life is short so do what makes you happy while you're alive. But arguing against the facts or science is where people differ. Maybe the fight isn't with one another but instead with the people at Websters dictionary. That would be were I would start if I truly wanted to change the mind of the masses -- I think it hasn't happened because it's not realistic. Thank you for your comment
