When I look at our nation, as it is today, I keep remembering the words of Abraham Lincoln. "If you look for the bad in people expecting to find it, you surely will." I am just so grateful that Steve Hartman, has been around to remind us of all the good there is out there too. I pray that you will continue to point the way for us all to look.
Well said! When people complain of the current situations and think that evil just spreads evil, which it does.. like mold on a loaf of bread. But to be positive, to think of the good in this country, in individuals, in life itself!.. that is also contagious. I was actually born in Britain but had dual citizenship and now consider myself solely an American citizen. I love this country for the good in it and its people, and I forgive it for the issues we have because I believe that goodness will persevere.
Gina Dodds; Wantagh, NY Steve: Your series is heartwarming. They reach our hearts and find ourselves even more patriotic than ever. I don't know how you do it, but you manage to keep all of us believing in miracles. Thank you.

Great stories! Especially the singers! I might have to go to that hotel just to witness that! Actually all the stories were great. It’s amazing that just by chance of birth I can enjoy all the pleasures and freedom being an American brings. It’s so amazing listening to these who worked so hard to become citizens tell about their feelings now that they too are citizens! It makes me appreciate my citizenship even more. And makes me want to thank my mom for taking a chance and coming to this country (dad was 2 nd generation Irish). Happy 4th of July to all 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
❤Thank you and God bless you, Steve and all of your crew for sharing these stories, which inspire and motivate others to show kindness, and make the world a better place! You may never know how much good you've done, or how much a simple smile or act of kindness will do for a struggling soul.
Finn is absolutely beautiful ❤ my son has autism and absolutely loves watching flags and tree branches wave in the wind❤❤ and those twin boys and Mr. Harding made me cry! So amazing
⚓U.S. Navy here, CBS you should give Steve Hartman his own Prime Time Show where families can sit together and have their hearts warmed by The Good People that surround us.❤P.S. The best 1/2 hour I've had all day. 👍I need a New box of tissues. 😭
"At this auspicious period, the United States came into existence as a Nation; and if their Citizens should not be completely free and happy, the fault will be entirely their own." ~ George Washington

Just as I have a list of movies I watch every holiday season, I think I will add this to a collection of 4th of july videos I should watch at least once a year.. The first on that this list is "Moscow on the Hudson"... if you've never seen it Google the ending here on RUclips ... you will probably be in tears after just a few minutes and want to watch the entire film! Happiness and health to all and Happy 4th of July 2022!
16:00 I live in Savannah Ga. We have SO much history some good. Some not so good. But it is history. We almost lost all the history. Back in the 80s the Mayor was going to tear down all the old buildings. To build Skyrises. But with a group of ladies they stopped that foolishness. Than SCAD Savannah College Of Art And Design came to town and started saving the old building. Savannah has been saved. Many buildings were taken down over the years but we are bless to still have many.
My name is Sarah Whitley. I live in Avila Beach California. I took care ofArnold Holmes. Passed away of complications of Dementia. A WW2 veteran who's story is amazing. Please consider looking into. Please and thank you...
I don't know who this little boy is but I pray there are more people like him out there. I feel like America has become a cesspool and we no longer cherish our values and morality Become a country where we pray upon children and we harm them and tell people it's okay
I think it's because I lived in other countries, and I was born with dual citizenship - US and Britain.. but in many occasion I believe I am more than a patriot than those that were born here in the US. I think citizens take so much for granted including the past generations that fought for this country. At a young age I was taught the meaning of the flag and how to properly fold it. To this day when I see a USA flag in the rain I wonder why it's not taken down!?! There is so much beauty in this country that to only dwell on the negative and to not see these things as something that we as Citizens can conquere ..... that is a waste of our citizenship.
They also go out to place flags because it wouldn’t be right for a kid and not them putting them out. I think it’s a disgrace that some schools won’t let kids say the pledge of allegiance! I would go stay in that hotel just for the singing!!

"At this auspicious period, the United States came into existence as a Nation; and if their Citizens should not be completely free and happy, the fault will be entirely their own." ~ George Washington
Right about now there’s a lot of unhappy Americans and I agree with George. The fault is entirely their own!
Too much fear of big words like "socialism."

Can you summarize the story?
I don't know who this little boy is but I pray there are more people like him out there. I feel like America has become a cesspool and we no longer cherish our values and morality
Become a country where we pray upon children and we harm them and tell people it's okay
Nature can find a use for just about anything we humans can make. God bless all veterans but nature is bigger than we are she always wins.
I think it's because I lived in other countries, and I was born with dual citizenship - US and Britain.. but in many occasion I believe I am more than a patriot than those that were born here in the US.
I think citizens take so much for granted including the past generations that fought for this country.

There is so much beauty in this country that to only dwell on the negative and to not see these things as something that we as Citizens can conquere
..... that is a waste of our citizenship.
If it was a veterans cemetery why weren’t all the graves given a flag to begin with?
I wish there were more stories, like this that unite us. Instead of the news daily trying to divide us.
❤️😢
Great true story-book title-"Cowboy Mafia "÷

Woodchuck? Where is he today
