Idiom : Why had the English Pandits formed "Idiomatic expressions" in English language ? Many times, the idiomatic usage in ENGLISH confuses most of the others who are unaware of the meaning. Because, such idiomatic usage (funny) is not at all quite common in other languages. Please comment in what other way the use of IDIOMS are advantageous/helpful to Humen. That is, why do we use idioms?

I've just received my TRF and I got band 7 in speaking and an overall score of 7.5! God bless you, Keith. I would say if you have decent english speaking and writing skills already then you can watch these videos on a regular basis until you take your exam. This will definitely boost your chances of getting a higher score.

- face a problem head on: deal with a problem directly
put your head in your sand = ignore
- make a dent in a problem. = make a small impact
Climate change is a surmountable challenge. If you are putting your head into your sand of it, you can’t make a dent in this problem. So we need to face a problem head on and implement solutions.
