@DiceTower it looks fantastic! I am just wondering if a person likes a genre of a game such as deck building would there be an area or group location for that?
In the virtual flea market you buy in advance. Games are posted online in a forum at the bgg site starting May before the con and you bid or buy and then pick up at the official virtual flea market event. The regular flea market you go in and buy from vendors who have new and used for reduced prices. No purchase in advance needed.
@@AleJimenezmusic Thanks for explaining. Where I live is way too small to have these sorts of events. I was so confused why people were holding up signs, but I guess it is to identify themselves so people know where to pick up their items. Hoping to attend something like this con one day.
I found the footage of Mike Dilisio moving tables and lugging boxes to be quite upsetting… Mike is an elder statesman of board gaming and should be treated as such. I felt like I was watching Rocky working back at Micky’s Gym in Rocky II cleaning spit buckets. Seeing that is demoralizing to gamers that look up to Mike as an avuncular figure. Tom should have never let this happen.
I dont think i will ever cruise, the more research i do, the more it seems that you get nickel and dime'd for every single thing. I can only imagine how furious i would be the entire time.
@@thedicetower guys i am sorry this comment should not be on this video i was watching another video and the comment from that video got posted here instead. Was not intended for you and i do not want to put down the dice tower cruise. To be honest i think it would be the only cruise i would consider.
Truly truly isn't nickel and diming. You pick what you want beforehand and pay it (internet, drink packages) then you are set. I enjoy putting my wallet and keys in the safe and not needing them again till cruise end
Loved the testimonials at the end. More of those!
Fun video and the attendees reactions at the end was a great idea
One day I hope to attend!

I am a very very happy girl cause I was able to get my "coffin" signed by Andrew Bosley! 😂 actually twice, outside the box and inside hahahaha
Haha, that's awesome! Andrew was super nice, glad you got to meet him. Also you have a phenomenal singing voice.
@@DTChrisYi thank you so much 💓💖💗
Dice Tower Events looks fun!
Loved this! I had such a great time last month. It was fun revisiting. Can't wait for next year! The friendliest convention of all.
Glad to hear the old Miami Dice intro :)
Great to see Detective City of Angels being played! It's a great game that doesn't get enough love.
That giant Diplomacy board was Epic!
Make a Dice Tower North in or near Albany, NY and I'll be there! :)
Hey, I played a game of Beyond the sun with the nice lady at 21:23

Surprised Jason could draw so well
There is one experience better than being taught a game by the designer, and that is defeating them at their own game.
Who er edited that guitar riff on roy needs an award
What is the flea market vs the virtual flea market?

@lizziejohnson5084 of course! It's very fun!
Is this before or after GenCon?
Before

"Eurogamers" made me L. O. L.

This isn’t even close to true. You pay one price and you never need to pay a single penny more. That’s the straight truth.
