All you have to do is load the materials, add the samples - and walk away.
The brain of this system is the microfluidic cartridge.
It has 12 individual channels so you can run 12 reactions at once. The tubes are compressed to this cartridge that fits in the palm of your hand.

The completely automated workflow combines all your protocols into one workflow from sample to insight: the microfluidic cartridge, extraction plate, the test strip, even your lab-developed test, patient sample, buffers and the instrument.

First, add the reagents and consumables. These can be used universally for any assay you’re running. The system is flexible.
Second, add your patient samples in any order. True random access makes continuous loading possible.
Third, press load for the NeuMoDx system to begin. Your results will be ready in about an hour, with up to 8 hours of walk away time.
