  • Remaking a leather project I made 18 years ago! My leather skills have developed a bit since making this mirror - one of my first leather projects. I decided it was high time for an upgrade. Using a mash-up of illustrations from one of my favorite childhood books: "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak. I tooled the design into vegtan cowhide using only a handful of tools and dyed it with a paintbrush. I'm trying something a little different with this video - skipping the voiceover and letting the work speak for itself, let me know what you think.
