Hi Melanie…I just returned from the Americas Mart Gift Show in Atlanta and noticed that Homeworx had a booth…I was surprised that they are opening their line to independent gift shops! ❤️❤️
Yes I saw that! I was speculating with someone else where they might end up in the future in terms of retails lol! I am wondering how long his deal with QVC is. I'd like to see that hopefully come to a close soon and better retails become an option. Q's shipping is outrageous.

Awe! I'm kind of a big fan of using older sayings lol. I also have some Germans ones I still say that makes my daughter giggle lol. My favorite one is about a donkey trying to cut corners and ends up "carrying" himself to death... It's morbid. It's German🤣 But the point is a good one lol!

I picked up Espresso Martini and Grandmas Gingerbread. I thought there was way to many tree scents and those are not my favorites. Thats ok though, saves me $ for fall releases on his website!! Thanks for the video!!

Hey Mel, I was just getting out my Yankee Candle room sprays, I have 53 technically, I'm using Margarita Time right now when I blow out a candle. I was checking out the years of when they were made and that's when the candles came out. 'Twas The Night Before would be good for Christmas, in contrast to Homeworx's wicks, Village Candle's wicks are too thin and I don't burn candles with thin wicks, personally, they look like they wouldn't perform well. Have you burned a Martha Stewart or Village Candle one yet? They look intriguing, but hesitant to burn one, they carry them at T.J. Maxx. Hearthside aka Shawn recommends Winter Spice of which I did see at T.J. Maxx. Tree Tops Glisten sounds like another good Holiday candle. Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, I would like please. Holiday Zest from Yankee smells great on cold. Over The River And Through The Woods to Grandmother's house we go? Oh, wait, not the right one haha, looks good. Their labels look amazing!

Hey hey , happy tsv day ! Man u weren't lying about postings as soon as it went live lol , i thought ut was tonight but seen ur upload and 930 mountain time so thats probably why ! Were getting ready for jadyns soccer tournament "nationals " its week long in irvine cali next week soooo i dont think im buying any tiday , if i do maybe one and im thinking of the most wonderful time of a year ! Love that u love that one ! Im like bubbly and fruity !
I would really enjoy the espresso martini but even the presentation there appears to be continued wick issues . I did purchase the Slatkin hurricane and returned it bc it was huge . Idk maybe a candle warmer is the only way to try these 🤷♀️💙

Harry said on an Instagram live months ago that he's ditching the cheap lids. WTF?
He really does need to change the lids back. There was mention of it so it should be happening with Fall hopefully. We shall see. The CIJ lids are nice because of the bow but they do have that thinner feel to them. They would have been amazing in the solid metal!

I'm curious if the Twas the Night Before smells anything like Hearth from Nest? I love the Hearth candle from Nest and I do not see it listed on their web site anymore. I might have to get this if it's close to Hearth. Thank you for putting this up so soon.
I have not smelled Hearth from Nest unfortunately. But this is actually a really nice version of a hearth type scent. Lovely!
The old notes of Over the River and Through the Woods were "sugared cloves, blue spruce, nutmeg, and vanilla." Do you think the label is wrong? The old notes suggests that is gourmand with a touch of a tree note.
The old notes ring far more true. Not sure why they are changed here.

I actually still have a room spray of Nutmeg & Spice so you sold me there! 😂 I would not have chosen that one based on the “icy” note.

@@MrKongsMom I went back to look and it’s actually Kitchen Spice. 😬 But I did find a stash of fragrance oils (one is Creamy Nutmeg). Omg, can’t wait to test them out. They all smell fine for being probably 20-ish years old. 😂🫣
Over the River and Through the Woods is mislabeled. It’s absolutely not “winter breeze, fresh spruce, mountain balsam, and icy musk”. It’s straight up nutmeg and spice. I contacted QVC and I can return these mislabeled candles for the price MINUS $10.95 for shipping. This is horrible customer service and I’m done with Homeworx after this.
You can always send them back as “defective” through Q and they won’t charge return shipping. Try that route to return them. I’ve done that even when they were not defective and was never charged shipping.
I appreciate your suggestion. They won’t charge me for shipping, but $10.95 will be deducted from what I paid for them. So I can’t get a full refund even though they’re clearly defective.
That must be new. Did you try another person on the phone? I wouldn’t let that go so easily 😂. I’m stubborn. The candle should have been properly labeled.
Not from a person on the phone, it was stated twice in the email I received which contained the shipping label.
