Misha is so funny and adorable all on his own. It's a pity many fans always want to relate him with J2 and destiel. If not for those two and the ship, his character Castiel would have had a much better story and a spinoff by now. Damn, I think we missed that.

@@SPNConGirl My bad - about the name thing . I'm forever getting names wrong . Anyways glad you had a blast . Both the Harry potter and Game of Thrones SDCC con were amazing . I met Jk Rowling, Evanna Lynch, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson etc ( this was in 2011) . The Game of Thrones Convention was great , I met Michele Failey, Richard Madden and Emila Clark , GRRM and more ( this was in 2013 ). After that it was the supernatural Convention in Birmingham cos I was visiting somebody . After that - no more cons cause of numerous reasons like travel costs and location .
Here after 15x18, and what Misha said about Cas not identifying with any sexuality proves that I love you wasn't romantic and hence destiel isn't canon. Cas loves Dean like family, just the fact that he didn't know what his happiness would look like proves he hadn't attached his happiness to the very specific idea of Dean returning romantic feelings that don't exist. He rather found happiness in finding absolution within himself instead of outside like he told Jack earlier to find and was thankful that Dean changed him by making him care about the world. I'm glad Misha made Cas's mindset clear over a year ago, and that even though he's accepting of people's projections on Cas he doesn't give into indulging anyone's fantasies beyond just comedic purposes and sticks to the version he's crafted himself for 12 years so brilliantly. Long live Castiel...
I actually believe that Misha did played Castiel being in love with Dean romantically and the I love you was romantic. Not saying destiel is canon. Just I think you can also love someone more than one way at a time. Also, Misha liked this tweet that states "MISHA LIKE THIS TWEET IF DEAN AND CAS ARE CANON" - twitter.com/kaymill0/status/1324544777451429890 As of right now, I don't think Destiel is canon, just Cas's I love you was also romantic. Not identifying a sexuality does not mean one cannot be romantically interested in someone. Especially considering that Misha during a French convention panel said the confession was homosexual in nature.
