When people come into your home they only glance at them. I can't believe how much time we spend trying to get things "just right", when no one really even notices. 😂 And yet....I keep redecorating...
Inherently, its about how it makes you feel. It's good for guests to admire those things, but ultimately, it's how it makes you feel to see those things arranged in your space in a certain way. A week ago, I finally styled the open shelving I had installed on the wall between my dining room and livingroom, and every time I walk past it, it brings me a feeling of satisfaction, because I took time to style it with items that I carefully picked out to get the aesthetic I've always wanted. I live alone and haven't had any guests over yet, but I'm sure when they come over they will rave about how good it looks, but meanwhile, I am enjoying the way the shelves look. 😊

I don’t have dried botanicals. But I did buy some faux eucalyptus. It’s an orange color. And I shaped them up a bit and put them in a crock. My husband finally cleaned his mess off my kitchen peninsula. He still has stuff on it. But it’s way better than it was. And once I move stuff around it will look just fine. He may have a fit. But I will move it where I think it looks good. I had a wreath on my front door. And I put a command hook on the back of the office door and hung it there. I love the way you decorate.

For starters I love the color of those sheeeeeeets 😭 So beautiful. I'm a neutral Girl too but adding a bit of a darker color palette, not too dark. Just enough to add that mood that's giving in the bedroom. TY for the code. Girl, I love you but I have a little bit of OCD and having wrinkled sheets and comforters would drive me insane. I was trained by my Dad who was in the Military to make my bed where you could bounce a coin on it. I do love the mushroom color. I love my White Egyptian 1000 thread ct Cotton sheets from Amazon. I always love your tips, your passion and your excitement, it surely gets us motivated thanks for sharing❤
Oh my gosh 100% agree! I can’t have any of my bedding wrinkled and it must be made military style. It drives me crazy watching people on RUclips making their beds with sheets they pulled out of a pile and just tuck it any which way. I personally hang dry all my bedding and steam where needed. Same for my clothing, don’t machine dry very many things all the way. Maybe socks & towels. Its actually hard for me to watch 🫣 some of these RUclipsrs do laundry. I’m actually surprised Brandy isnt more meticulous and is okay with wrinkled bedding. She’s loves organizing and having things look so esthetically pleasing so it really surprises me. I think a lot of people just don’t know any different when it comes to laundry & bedding. My mom and grandmother taught me when I was very young so it the only way I know. I cringe when I see people mix all types of clothing, towels etc into the same load or take all their wet laundry out of the washer in one big pile and just stuff it in the dryer😬 with out shaking out each item really well. Maybe they just don’t know if you take each item and shake them out really well before putting it into the dryer you reduce wrinkles by a ton. Stuffing it all twisted up from the washers spin cycle into the dryer your just going to get wrinkled clothing. I take a lot of pride in my laundry. I haven’t pulled out an iron and I can’t tell you how long. If you do it properly you clothes dry looking pressed. Plus the material & colors stay looking new for years. I serious have thought about posting a RUclips video just on how to properly sort laundry, wash it and dry it.

I grew up having to iron cotton sheets and I just can’t do it anymore! By the time I get the duvet and everything else on, it doesn’t matter to me! But I get what you’re saying 😊
Everything is beautiful, but I think it would have also looked beautiful if you had added a little plumb and Amber color foliage, the vases and wreaths are all the same color, and it looks a little washed out, It's OK to go neutral colors but sometimes it can be to much.
