Adding three players (DJJ, Grant, Lively) who are willing to do the dirty work and be team players have been a real difference maker
They have been wonderful additions. It is so rare to add three starters that are playing at a high level.

Best FA pickup, if it comes to price vs production, for Dallas in what... over a decade? He fits our team needs perfectly, and as long as he shoots with confidence, he is a really good starter.
BUT, every good game also means his price will rise. I hope he understands what he has here and takes a pay cut next summer. At least for one more year. Then we are able to pay him way more.
I really hope they can find a deal that works for both the team and for DJJ. It is a very good pairing.
From his high school highlights to his NBA ones, I gotta give dude his flowers. Dallas has given him the best opportunity to be himself and play freely. You can tell his teammates encourage him to shoot those open 3s.

Let's hope they can get something done in the off-season. However, the Mavs really need his shooting to stay where it is for that to happen.
@@TheMavsBlog hes gonna get plenty of open looks so i have no fear his shot is gonna leave him. He just needs enough to keep defenses honest and not be a liability.
I have a strong feeling this man is finally gonna get the bag after this season and extending with the mavs. All he really needs to work on is his 3pt shot, other than that, he's shown he's a great fit for this team.

Late to the party there, this man is one of the best Dunkers in the NBA and has been since he entered the League in 2017. I'm most impressed with his increase in 3pt production.
