My calypsonian❤
Much respect for posting this Vintage Unplugged series to youtube for the world to appreciate and enjoy.
Major!! Sugar Aloes was one of my favorite calypsonians. I remember Joey played guitar for me when I sang in Point Fortin in Convent days! This is a breath of fresh air and I love that you all are focusing on the art form and putting it on the internet for those of us that are out of the country.
Nuff respect Aloes.your calypsoes are classics.listeninf to thembrings a smile n a thought.!Bigup CNC3

Although pay you money yougood
Sugar Aloes- sorry people but he & Cro Cro can't do Social Commentary- that is for Chalkdust exclusively. Sugar Aloes had some sweet melodies in his repoirtoire- "Roti & Talkative" & "Party Time" (1989). "I Love ❤️ Being Me" (1992)- one of my favorites where he clears up the mess/confusion between him and the Sweet Soca Man Baron. A favorite of mine would be "Nobody Love Nobody." Cro Cro and Sugar Aloes are the ones nowadays who are known for their Social Commentaries (Political commentaries).
This should never stop....i will SUBCRIBE and i advised all who listening to the same and lets lift our channel to a 1000 and more. Bless up.STOP BY

Aloes is right! He is an artist first!! Unless he is on retainer by the PNM then he has to work and do his art. His personal and political views are his own.
No, this is about more than a paycheck. If he was a staunch supporter of his party (til he dead) it's no way he or anyone else would have thought he was even capable of doing such a show. He was definitely making a personal and political statement to whomever!! Plus, who would have conceivably approached him to do such a gig?
Do any 1 the lyrics to signs of the end of times
Sugar alloes first song was pure dotishness that year , yet he felt he beat sparrow? No wonder he is now irrelevant
