    Low-key one of the darkest lines in a marvel film, people often talk about the humour in this film but it had a lot of serious moments

      Honestly Bruce has gone through a lot, an abusive father, his life being ruined by one accident, mental illness. I honestly can’t say I can blame him. It is crazy that they just casually mention the fact that he tried to kill himself though. If there were a reason I was surprised it would definitely be out of universe.

      Looking back on phase 3 and 2 , despite the errors, overall it created amazingly iconic moments and lines in this whole genre. Phase 4 feels like a half-assed ghost of the former, sure theres high points but damn, does it get low. Too many people were so busy nit-picking the low points in this time period to enjoy all the high points, and how far super-hero movies had come. Even if it was still alot of corporate bs, it was definitely less soulless than it is today. No one asked for Madame web to exist, or Black widow, or for Thor 4 to be some corny ass comedy movie. How tf are the Disney+ series better than the movies overall in this phase.

      Literal character assassination. She Hulk complained that her problems were worse than his and HE AGREES, despite him having gone through hell and back, lost many people, and he had a suicide attempt in the past to try and kill the hulk but it failed so he has to live with the harsh reality that he can never end himself. Oh, and she hulk got catcalled. That's it. It's like comparing getting slapped by a toddler to getting suckerpunched by thanos with the gauntlet on.

      Okay…… what would you suggest he do?
      Hes a hardened combat vet. Hes reaching out of reflex not because he thinks it will actually kill the hulk. Combative training is reflexive not conscious. Ask anyone who trained martial arts or served in the military. It’s purely reflexive

    • @mohankrishna_mon
      @mohankrishna_mon 2 месяца назад +1

      @@canderoussnurd4265 combat training doesn't just teach you how to fight, it also teaches you when not to fight. Provoking an enemy (by pulling a gun in this case) is considered a fatal decision when your chances of winning over him are absolutely zero.

      @@mohankrishna_mon 🤦🏻
      Try again dude. Reread the comment and put it into context. He’s not provoking. He’s reaching for a weapon out of reflex due to his training as a subconscious reaction to a threat to his life. He didn’t pull the weapon and say “come on bitch do it”. He reached and unlatched his weapon prepared for a draw. There’s a difference. If I was in the situation I’d do the same thing. Especially given how fast shit could go sideways here.

    Nick Fury only put his hand on his gun once he saw Bruce pick up the scepter. Because the frame showed a close of Bruce from shoulders up, you can't see him pick up the scepter. But you can see his shoulders move to pick up the scepter from 00:31-00:35. Nick wasn't being insensitive, he was responding to Bruce having picked up the scepter, and so did Black Widow put her hands on her gun the same time as Nick at 00:37
