I install the submersible pump with flexible hose. Its a 3 watts submersible pump.

I don't understand the sponge order!! why first fine and then coarse??? really should be the other way around!! fine will become clogged much too quickly and then it will overflow at the top!! coarsely at first to remove large parts. then fine for the small parts
good day to you! it should be the Mechanical Filter first, Like the filter wool and the bio foam. because if clogged it easy to replace it. that's the maintenance part of the filtration system. Filter wool should be replace and maintain regularly. As to the biological filter, like lava rings and bio balls etc. it holds the beneficial bacteria and good bacteria for the aquarium. thank you for the comment and happy fish keeping.😊
Mechanical first. The coarse sponge's job is not filtration first but housing millions of beneficial bacteria.
He was saying that on top to be the black mecanical and then the white one on bottom. First you get the big pieces in the black sponge and then with the white one you get the smaller ones
