i enjoy this special force training in saf , you guys are really put much effort in training just to protect singapore and and our home . Im proud each of the soldiers who into special force and let us defend our nation
Let me explain why. The warmup consist of back-to-back hammering. The main event which is combat swim, is like a walk in the park for these divers. They would rather swim than kena hammered, which is why he thinks it is tough.
As an ex regular myself. Mostly the candidates were regular specialists and officers. Regardless of any ranks . All kena tekan together like recruit and can be worst. SOTF is a breed of man of steel air/land/sea operations expert but one thing that they unable to compete with the SAS (British special air services) is the Climate control and altitude operations given that Singapore has only one seasons SAS undergo more toughest training but added more. E.g reconnaissance on top of mountainous area, mountain repelling, cold combat training (snow season) they cover training over 100KM of land..
I guess SAS have to be prepared in different environment as past deployments in Falklands and Middle East show. Their marine recon also trained in Nordic countries too
Why dont we send our SOFT to run the Brecon Beacons SAS "fan dance" to see if they can survive. Apparently to qualify as SAS they are just given one water bottle, a map, knife, appropriate clothing and a survival box kit.
im guessing he signed on after NS and decided to stick to same vocation if not choose an easier vocation just to get used to bmt and army first before transition and trying for harder coruse
That is a unit patch, it just means he is posted there for a tour of duty, regardless of his vocation (can be Cdo, Guards maybe really a Log guy). His vocation is unknown (can't see his vocation tab on his collar). But whatever vocation, whichever unit, deep respects to him and the group for even volunteering to go through JSFS!
@@Redoxon my instructor told us it's 20 strength /80 mental resilience. You MUST really want it otherwise you'll never make it through. Thinking back, I was half-hearted... Probably won't even make it past PT selection.

Think so, they can’t reveal the people in special forces
They make the battalion boys book out early when they graduate so they dun even see their faces sia
