Blackpool August 2022

The middle of August 2022 we all travelled up to Bispham, Blackpool for a couple of nights. We rented out a large terraced house, where eleven of us slept. The house was a ten minute walk from the Blackpool Tower, and a two minute walk from the nearest beach.
We visited all the main arcades, as well as the three piers in Blackpool, which cost us a fair bit with the children wanting to go on various rides and amusements.
The second day we caught the tram down to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and spent a good few hours there. There's rides for all ages, from toddlers all the way up to teens and adults. My son and his uncle braved the Big One, but vowed not to do it again, but I have a feeling they will at some point. It's such a high ride though, and the drop is brutal.
On the evening we ate out at Yates and a pub called The Gynn, which were both good choices and served some tasty food for a reasonable price. We also walked down to the end of the North Pier one evening, and found a lovely bar called Bloom Bar. Well worth a visit, and so relaxing in there and well decorated inside and out.
Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and the weather was very kind to us on the whole. Will certainly be heading back to Blackpool some time in the future.
