This is absolutely true. Especially indoors, as people ANTICIPATE you to PEEK and cower, but run and go berserk! Recently I got back into airsoft and felt like a fresh start. I took hits. BAD hits. To the thigh, neck, pinky, elbow, name it. But I changed my play style like my very life depended on it lol, I went warlord mode and started running across the entire indoor arena getting kills left to right, only getting hit once every like... 4 kills. So a 0.75 K/D. Not bad but point is, play aggressive!! Adrenaline helps too :)
Pretty much day one lessons at infantry school... he's not wrong... I did have a good laugh about his critique of people not wanting to go prone because they don't want to get dirty... as a former soldier this makes me chuckle... last game half the field was flooded... was awesome
1. Never attack uphill and when doing so be fast 2. Only go prone if youre in defense otherwise youre gonna loose the initiative and opportunity to apply pressure ... never stop while rushing That's all i can add
Number 2 is where I disagree. There are absolutely times when going prone on an attack is beneficial. For example, when attacking enemies from behind a vehicle. Obviously, don't go prone when assaulting a building or when engaging in CQC.
I'm new to airsoft and this channel is really helpful. I'm so glad you've consistently been making videos for years and that it's still active. Keep up the great work!
Also speedsofters: wear thight sportsuits to express your sexual preference... Oh and keep shooting after you get hit. At least this happens in western europe...
All these tips from this guy and these comments are amazing thanks so much guys! I’m new to airsoft so I can’t wait to use these tips and tricks against my friend.
I’m going to start soon (once lockdown is finished) I’ve never done it before so I’m relying on my Nerf battle knowledge mixed with rainbow six siege 😂
In a cqb I did a defender prone position and I loved it cause you have immediate control and if you need to get out of there, I was thought in the army to bounce up but in my own way I rolled to my right then I kneeled up behind cover cause it faster and you don't make loads of sound but by bouncing up you make sound and they tells them you moved also gives your tactic away.
3:48 oh i would go prone if it was colder, it might sound stupid, but when its colder there are less ants, ticks and other kind of bugs, i dont mind getting dirty, its just i dont want to... get ticks or ants on me. Maybe next video should be on tips on shooting and running, and transition to pistol and pistol shooting, Great video and tips
Thanks for posting these. I can't tell you how many kills I've gotten over the years from people not dropping their elbow when they are behind cover. XD
I've been airsofting like 5 times with my friends in the woods and I don't think I've hit someone a single time with my AEG. I have a couple of times with my p320 but my M4 is just ridiculously inaccurate. Does anyone have any tips for sighting in a red dot and hop-up on an airsoft gun? I feel like my shots are never hitting when I know for a fact that I'm aiming at people
Clicked because i was bored but #1 the amount of rentals watching this is gonna be high 😂#2 ion really need to do this since i’m either sniping at a distance they can’t hit me or i’m speedsofting 😂
2:08 you can’t with a sniper because you probably won’t be able to see them if aiming and you can’t aim after seeing them cause they see u right away and aim faster so i peak then pull up the sniper and quick shoot
Snipers are usually in a covered position, so I don't see why snipers would be in this situation, and if so the tip still defently works for snipers aswell
Some of these do look like basic no-brainers but it's amazing how quickly you forget about them, especially if you haven't played for a very long time. Good refresher!
good pointers on the leg and peeking out above cover. if ever peeking above cover do it quick and oodaloop the threat. if your presence is contested pop like a wak a mole to survive. above the cover 180 of the field gets intel on you. from the sides only 90 degrees may be allerted on your precence.
Something a lot of people don't consider: don't press right up against your cover. People want to lean right up against the wall and then peak out. You expose more of yourself that way, reduce your mobility, and make it harder to see threats. Stand several feet away from your cover and check around the corner (slice the pie) from there.
you aint airsofting for real if your afraid to get dirty 😂😂 walked through a small river that went almost to my waist first time playing, but theres always the risk of dropping something pricey.
Pro tip: If you're doing a WW2 reenactment kit, just skip the entrenching tool. Source: I have had my crouching rudely interrupted by a fucking shovel too many times in only having it for two games.
One other tip: be aware of your gear sticking out, because any hit is a hit. If you wear a helmet that is raised 2 to 4 inches above your head, and you hide behind a car, people can still shoot your helmet sticking out. From all the hits i took last week, at least 50% where on my helmet sticking out of cover
Played with my colleagues (first time). Got hit 3 times ( 8 hr duration). Just move from cover to cover. While moving shoot at your enemies. Also when you shoot some bb's, move to another position. Keep em guessing your next move. Shot my instructor in the head. Gave me the ok sign 😂😂😂
If im hit i yell it loudly and then i crumple to the group and throw my red wound flag over my body or face. Also dirtier you are the better you blend in with the enviroment
You missed the biggest way of not getting hit! If you buy really expensive kit it generates a anti-bb bubble around you and that way you'll never get hit.
Any airsoft battle is easily won with 2 things 1: Superior Firepower 2: Mass numbers If you have a good chunk of people laying down hate whilst moving towards the objective you cannot fail Unfortunately most people are too afraid to push with you
Want to go prone? Buy some elbow pads, not to protect your elbows but because the ground is wet and yucky. You be down there, getting all wet and slimy thinking you're an extra on Cardi B's W.A.P. video, eeeewww.
Hey kinda off topic but I am looking into buying my first airsoft pistol. Do you have any suggestions. I don’t know much about pistols but I was looking at a glock 17.
3:58 I can guarantee you that’s a perfect example of how to properly get to a prone without eating dirt and/or stabbing dirt with your muzzle. That’s a doctrinal example of going prone taught in most of the armed forces in U.S.
And don't be that guy...the one standing around, not paying attention, gun pointed at the ground. At least get down one one knee so you're a smaller target, keep your gun up and keep looking around. Like they say in MMA "protect yourself at all times!"
Too bad laser tag isn't tech enough yet where the "laser" acts like real bullets and is more realistic than plastic BBs that get caught in wind easy and doesn't have the range real guns, or even BB guns, have.
Awesome video !!I I trained the basics on your previous tutorial video and my skills significantly improved, thanks a lot ! Check my gameplay footage in my channel and see it yourself, cheers from Brazil 👊
Lead with your knees to go prone with good knee pads. lead with your non dominant foot when pieing a corner. (practice switching side to accommodate) Keep your primary low on your shoulder during cqb. AWARENESS IS KEY. point of aim point of impact. Eyes before bore. Ect
Me and my friends are doing a game called hunt. Basically one person is hunted by the whole group for a week and people can help you or be against you. This week its me week I need some refreshers😂. We also are tracking eachothers phones. Its really fun but also fetching scary
if oodalooped a treat before poping out from cover visualise your target recolect muscle memory how the stance should be. then act on your loop. snap back in before opponent reacts. if he is hit you cang get confirmation on your next snap out. trie to snap out from another level if he survived. by visualising ahead you can blindfire out opponents regardless if civilian spectators are allowed on the field or not.

That is a very limited viewpoint. The prone position can be effectively used in many circumstances, not only while defending.
@@ryandoty6048 Yeah, I agree. Prone can be used, if correctly. To sneak up on a base or enemy force. Though this requires good fitness and awareness.
