The audiobooks are an incredible experience, the narrator is both very skilled and puts a lot of effort in. Also I can no-spoilers confirm that the series is still ongoing.
This series cracks me up. It's like a can of pringles. I just can't stop. I'm 60 pages away from finishing the Poppy War. I have to slow down on this series because if I get to book seven, I'm going to sad when there's no more. So I think after book 3 I'll stop and then wait until .. . book 11? Does it go forever? Is this my life now???
@@threechaptersaday it's so good. I'm an audiobook guy, so I'm waiting until next month to read book 7! It's killing me. I resisted the "LitRPG" stuff for the most part, but DCC and Shirtaloon's "He Who Fights with Monsters" have got me locked in! I can take or leave most of the other series, tbh.
You might like Caverns of Socrates, by Dennis McKiernan. It's about a group of role players who are tasked with testing out a new virtual simulation run by an AI. An accident happens and they become trapped in the game.
The series is amazing and addictive, but TERRIBLE advice considering it as an intro to LitRPG- it transcends the entire genre so much it should just have its own category. It will ruin LitRPG books because it is so much better then the rest.

They do put a lot of effort in. Once I'm walking again (it's too cold) I plan on having these be part of my daily walking regiment.
I really like how you're putting your videos together. Interesting content in an engaging format. You're good on-screen. Chris
Thanks Chris! I appreciate it! Means a lot.
Thanks Chris! I have a good editor!
Welcome to the party!

Douglas-- I’m going to check that out! Thanks for the recommendation (oof my TBR)
Also recommend the audiobook. Series is estimated to be 9-10 books
I listened to part of it on audio and just loved it.

Yeah. I shouldn’t had said intro. It’s like trying pizza for the first time in Chicago. But well, here we are! Donut forever!!
