+Roxy Katt yes, it's time consuming - but for me it's a good way to get as much time as possible with these kits... some sort of therapy and passion ;-)
AWESOME MUSIC AND PHOTOGRAPHY! Keep up the good work! *'Liked and Subscribed' I have to ask. could you could supply a little more information on the musical artist aside from "Trial"? I really like that track.
Thank you ;-) The "grass" is some sort of decoration material used for presenting easter eggs in a nest. I bought it at a garden centre. But I think it's too rough for the simulation - on my clip it may works. In real life the grass is a little bit off scale though...
One question: where did you use those unassigned PE22 parts, those 14 turnbuckles? I see some on the wing wires, but I am confused as they are unassigned and they are not enough for all wires.
Unfortunately when I built the model I wasn't that experienced in rigging and glued the turnbuckles on the wire - instead of threading them in. To be honest I didn't even thought about doing it the right way. For me it was an experiment in several ways - now I'm a bit better in rigging and try to get information from the original... Sorry, if my clip may be a bit confused.
Tom Grigat disagree, your model is superb. I have mine waiting to be assembled, and I am checking original pictures and your assembly to check all the rigging. Looks like you used transparent fishing line and you drilled holes in that pillar. Also very cool the way you created your copper lassos. Yet, the photo etched part has 14 turnbuckles, only the main wing wires need 16, so I am puzzled in what to do. You glued yours in the middle of the wire because that’s how it is in the picture, probably caused by the crash. Still deciding if I should buy more turnbuckles or just copy you and glue then only for decoration. Another thing, do you remember the diameter of the copper wire and the fishing line? I bet 0,1mm
Thanks for your kind words 😊 it's a very good idea to check some original Fotos. And I am really proud if my little clip could help you in some cases. Have fun with your kit...
Great video Tom. That must have taken ages doing the stop motion. V.clever. I like your little home made eyelets for the rigging. Could I ask you what gauge wire you use for that ?
Flying Dutchman WoT/WoWs Gameplay TV. Yes, you're absolutely right. I did to much - unfortunately it was a mistake since I didn't add a coating between the different colorparts... Thank you for your kind words.
Hear Hear, clearcoats are the unsang heroes of weathering (that and softening your washes ;) ) Yet your reference and b/w photo of the model are strikingly alike.. I also like the stop motion aproach, chappeau +1 !!
How can there be any dislikes to this highly skilled production, not to mention the brilliant model. It beggars belief!
Thank you - but I think my videos are of very special interests only and a lot of people don't like this sort of hobby I can imagine...
Awesome Eindecker. Masterfully built, painted, and weathered.Bill.
The Fokker scourge, very nice
There's not even one bad modell or film that you have shown us. That's a ton of work beyond my imagination. You have to be master craftsman.
Thanks for your kind words 😊 I'm glad my work is seen like this...
I positively LOVE that propeller!!!! Also the additional "IRON CROSSES" on the airplane's tail fins!!! Great touch!!!! All Around, A PERFECT MODEL!!!!
Unfortunately you cannot move the propellor in eduards aircraft kits since the propellors shaft is casted as a fixed part in the engine or ist Mount.
But you can make it rotatable with a scratch made combination of rod and tube. I built it for several models with Albion Alloys material...
😮😮😮😮 wooooow, really hard work! Good job man, very nice model 💪💪👍
Thank you 😊
Breathtaking!! Model, diorama and also the video itself.
amazing video of a amazing build of a amazing plane, very nice idea with diorama
Well done!
U make everything come to life in ur videos
Thank you - that's what I've been trying to do ;-)
Tom Grigat by the way could you help me with building my models because your paint job is excellent and mine is good
What do you mean by that? Sorry, but I don't understand...
Tom Grigat cuz I want to get better at painting my models so I was wondering if u could help
The request is very kind - but I am afraid not being the right person for such type of coaching. Possibly I'll make some tutorials for wood effects...
What you must have to plan to coordinate not only the build but the filming of it is mind boggling.
+Roxy Katt yes, it's time consuming - but for me it's a good way to get as much time as possible with these kits... some sort of therapy and passion ;-)
That bloody April, beautiful build.

brilliant, what do you use for the grass

Tom Grigat thanks, before you go, just confirm to me the diameter of copper wire and wires.
I hope I remember correctly: copper appr. 0,2mm, thread something 0,14mm fishing thread...
Great video Tom. That must have taken ages doing the stop motion. V.clever. I like your little home made eyelets for the rigging. Could I ask you what gauge wire you use for that ?
It's rig that thing from uschi v. d. rosten - the normal size. Unfortunately I don't know the diameter... sorry
Hi Tom, Thanks for the reply. I will shop around. They certainly provide some great stuff at uschi v. d. rosten.
Please carry on inspiring us all.
Way to stick a landing hans
5+
Scary...
Man I wish i had the privilege of 0.2mm uschi rig that thing 😐
I didn't use Uschi's threads here...
The song like horror movie 😨😨😨😱😱😱
Are you God?
No...
His videos are pretty cool though ;)
He is almost God...
@@TomGrigat lol

Too much weathering (to my personal likings) but well done anyways :)
