    This was great, Dan. I bought some cuttings from you back in the winter but have been unsure where the best spot to start them, but this has helped a lot. I now have the spot in mind and how I will make the berries accessible to chickens in time. You have a wealth of knowledge about everything that you grow and your sharing helps all of us. Keep up the good work, both of you.

    Have you tried growing Goji from seed. I've been attempting to with not much success. I get them to sprout but after that, its all down hill. No matter how careful I am with watering. On the plus side I have 6 Black berry youngins growing quite nicely. Any tips with the Red Goji is appreciated. Thanks. Great video. Enoy your channel.

    I have a massive plant but after 4 years we have no berries, is it because deer can get to it? I've not even seen a berry on it myself, saw a few blooms last year.

    I live up North a bit from you here in Red Bluff, CA. it gets down to the upper 20s here once or twice in the winter. I'm on the border of 9a and 9b. I think i should be able to grow most the same things you grow. im looking for a house with an acre or 2 right now looking to mimic what you are doing. Thanks for all the great videos!

    I purchased one last year kept it inside
    Just reported in 18 gallon tube
    It’s has flowers on it already
    Few plants I kept inside
    One soursop died
    I am afraid to plant because lots of tropical has not bloomed
    I thinking keep goji inside for winter until it gets older for few years older then plant it may have better chance of staying alive
    ? Keeping it on patio for few years do u think that’s better ?
    What do you recommend?
    I so enjoy your knowledge

    Thanks so much for your channel and the great info. I have a goji berry plant that produces lots of fruit, but the leaves are super dry and they have a sort of film on them that looks like dust but it doesn't wash off. They're in full sun and days are hot here especially in July/August (near Sacramento). Do you know what might be going on? (Not enough water?) Thanks so much!

    I bought a small plant for 20 bucks at home depot. Have been keeping it in the green house with 30 percent shade. Now wondering how it will grow in our intense summer heat and year around wind when it gets planted in the ground. We are 9A/B at 3100 feet. In Arizona.

      Me too in AZ- Phx proper. My plant has been thriving all summer (its been in shade under a tree with added shade cloth, but my backyard gets full sun all day) but my fruits are pretty small- like caper small. I'm wondering how to get them bigger.

    • @plantabundance
      @plantabundance  4 года назад +3

      Humid conditions can cause some powdery mildew. I only had an issue one year out of six. The plants and berries were fine. Try to not overhead water, especially in the evening. A little organic horticultural oil like neem can effectively rid the situation. Cheers!
