@@kkuwura hey! I was also competing in the same year in the same competition as Kazuha. As a pre professional Ballerina who has been in countless competitions for 5 years, this competition is well know in the ballet world, however, it is not ranked a prestigious competition as I think the commercially well known prestigious competitions are YAGP, Moscow, Varna, and Prix De Lausanne. In this video, I also did the same variation as her, just that I was in one category younger than her. I have seen this live in 2018 and i would say that she has strong technique and good artistry. Shes also very stable! So overall, she is a highly skilled ballet dancer! Hope this answers your question!

...honestly I think the lifespan of a ballerina and idol's career is about the same. You're only as good as your body and once you age out, there isn't much left for you. Both are grueling and physically, emotionally and psychologically pressuring, but being an idol is so much more glamorous.
I think what the poster means is that by being an idol & celebrity, Kazuha has more career options once she finishes her time as an idol and it gives her a substantial fanbase that will support her in her next endeavour, whether she chooses to transition to being an actress (most likely) or be a host or soloist. She can remain in the entertainment industry for a long time if her transition is successful.
both have their pros and cons to be honest... being a ballerina means that her circle of audience would be more niche and specialized, whereas her current path as an idol caters more to the general public but she'd have far more opportunities and exposure to the entertainment industry. from the looks of it right now, after lesserafim, i bet kazuha would go into modelling since she already has deals signed with calvin klein, and hybe has a pretty big infrastructure for models. and ngl kazuha would look amazing as a givenchy or valentino model HAHAHHAHAHA
@@twidlings327 That is true but being a professional ballerina can also give you a steady income, a lot of retired ballerinas open up their own studios etc. Even if they don't they can be teachers and they don't have to change their career once they retire (unlike switching from idol to actress). Personal preference if they want a quiet life or not but if you're a good ballerina it can be very rewarding as well.
No wonder why HYBE is always trying to showcase Kazuha's ballerina skills in their performances, pushing her ballet side, it would be a waste not acknowledge how talented this girl is, she's not just an idol, she's a professional dancer, really really talented, want her to show her ballerina skills forever!! she attended bolshoi ballet academy, royal ballet academy and de nationale balletacademie, all absolutely top ballet schools for top companies. asian grand prix is actually a smaller ballet comp compared to YAGP, the IBCs (especially Varna, Margot Fonteyn and I believe USA too) and the most prestigious comp I’ve seen around: prix de lausanne. I believe for PDL you have to be selected and there are only 75 spots. the rest of the comps accept all entries and AFAIK, around 1200 candidates are selected for YAGP finals (after several National and international comps and semi-finals from several countries). with kazuha’s list of schooling history, I’m not surprised if she attended them through scholarships awarded through any of these major comps! she probably has done more than AGP ✨☺️ (eta: apparently she was scouted for the Dutch school, even better! takes a lot of talent to be scouted for a top school)

@@aeshia you can't compete as a professional ballerina. Competitions are a way to get into professional contracts. She was in the Dutch National Ballet School (scouted from competitions) and on track to graduate into the Dutch National Ballet Corps.

She would've been auditioning as a company dancer and given she was scouted for her last year at an academy it was likely the Dutch National Ballet would offer her a contract. So yes closer to professional than hobby dancers but not a professional ballet dancer yet
Anytime I see this video I cry. She left this career behind for us. She was given less than a year to adapt to the idol world, thrusted into the spotlight with so little experience, competing with people who've been in this industry for more than a decade. But still she tries her best, still she tries to give it her all and pushes herself to the limit. To me she's the definition of "FEARLESS". FEARNOTs please treat her well. 🙏

バレエやってる人なら見てわかると思うんだけど、カズハちゃんって早い動きよりゆっくりの方が得意なタイプの方だと思うんだよね。何がすごいかって、そんなタイプなのに今ルセラでバキバキにダンスしてるのが凄い。
たった半年ほどの練習生経験の中であれだけバレエの癖がいい具合に取れて、でもカズハ特有の上品さは残したままのキレのあるダンスができるのはちょっと凄すぎますよね、、、

i did the bluebird variation before back when i was still doing ballet so to see that kazuha also danced to it is really cool!!
