- Welcome back to The Global Life!
Today we find ourselves circling around following an ILS approach in a mountainous area of Spain.
With the beautiful wing design, a heads up display and slow, stable approach speeds, the Global Express is fairly nimble for its size. However, a procedure like this one still requires good Crew Resource Management, preparation and planning in order to do it safely.
Follow along as we complete our approach and landing in Pamplona!

I'm so glad I found this channel! I live In bancroft which is 3 hours from Toronto. One day I wanna fly for Chartright. Its a dream of mine! I just finished all my ratings and am gonna start applying everywhere in the new year! I am soo excited.
I have 500 hrs so I am hoping that helps me out in getting hired somewhere. Really hoping to go straight to Pilatus or Kingair. Possibly Airbravo, Ornge, or Thunderairlines at first.

Hey, great video! I have a question and I'd be delighted if you've got an answer for me. I'm 23 years old, just out of flight school and I've now gotten a Job offer to go onto a global express. However they require all new pilots to pay for the rating themselves which is about 60k if i remember correctly. Since the Job market in the private sector (which is what i want to do) looks very bleak if you're not willing to pay for a type rating (at least in europe if you've got no experience) i am thinking of going through with it. Do you think that's a good idea? Did you go the same route? Do you have any tips for me? Really trying to find my place in the industry right now... thanks!
That's a tough choice. I'd always encourage finding ways to work your way into the career rather than pay your way into it. Taking shortcuts to fly the big jets right away might rob you from great and meaningful experiences along the way. That being said if you can do it without going in debt, it remains a good opportunity!
