He shouldve sent a ghoul behind the enemy treeline with the zeppelin, and issued attack order to clear a spot in it. No need for natures blessing if you dont need to move the ancients and you can instantly build and tech after possessing the wisps. Extra points for training the chimeras a treeline away from their main.
@@SttravagaNZza What about use 1 Meat Wagon to create holes in the trees to put down Wisps to make your Night Elf buildings so that enemy ground units can never see them?

Never thought I would say this but hey there's something I've achieved in WC3 that grubby hasn't! Playing with some friends at a lan house in the 2000's I've successfully done this build.

On the topic of wisp mating, I wonder what it feels to be mana drained?
At first I wondered how the tree of life makes wisps, but now I am wondering how the ancient of War makes archers???

Wisps are deceased elf souls, you can see many of those in Shadowlands.

Well in fact if you watched "Rick & Morty" and exactly the chapter with the talking cat & the wizards world where is only dragon's & magic you can clearly see how it looks. I believe that whisps is mating in the same way. To make it clear, just look how IO tethers to others & what sounds it provides when somebody passing throught his connection lol

hey grubby, i just got an idea for a secret base, im sure you could add to it but, clear a patch in the tree with like a demolisher or something but in a way that doesnt show from the outside, air drop a worker with a zepplin and have a hidden base or something :p

Hm, this game and your livestream today got me thinking: would a challenge where you played a ffa and killed everyone only with their own race be too difficult/tedious? I.E start undead - you can only kill other undead players; possess a builder from a different race and then you can kill that race with the units you built from that race (steal a peasant so you can kill other human players, etc) - heroes excluded of course, that would just be silly.

If he only expo at his natural with a possessed whisp that extra gold might have given him the edge for chims plus wyrms, of course both hero deaths were huge as well.
But he wants to hide it as much as possible.

Hey grubby I just thought of something amusing, you could do a funny game where you banshee another race's units, unsummon your buildings at any point, and finish the game with an army only comprised of the enemy race's units/heroes/buildings. Essentially you start as UD and finish as any other race.
I just finished the video and technically you did it in this vid but I actually didn't mean that! Hopefully you find this idea as amusing as I do and do it justice. Also, good luck on the revenge of the frost chims if you do decide to take another crack at it!
I meeeaan.... stuff like this can be fun, but this is just a mess. You can do fun stuff and still try. Why not harass a bit? Build the tree near a goldmine?
he didnt seem to think this through. it's hard to tell, based on the expert play, but with experience like you have, and I have, we can see mistakes.

expanding at his natural would seem to be the play, but the thing is that this opponent was way too likely to find it. The map was awful for this. There's nowhere to hide. This is actually the smallest map I think in the 1v1 map pool.

Why is it a problem that his opponent finds it? He already knew Grubby had Possessed some of his Wisps, so it's not like it was gonna be a surprise that he was building NE buildings. If he wanted the Chimaeras to be a surprise, he didn't have to hide the Tree of Life, just the Roosts.
