Okay, so this guy doesn't know how to pronounce Matt Corral's name, and did he really say Mississippi University? Really?! It's Matt Cor-RAL, and Ole Miss is the University of Mississippi! Makes me wonder if he's done any research, at all!
Agree. O line is probably better too. Also RB room last year wasn’t near as good as this year and the RB room last year was stacked. Bentley IV and Quinshon Judkins are key to back up evans
Dude, this is one of the best and most perceptive perspectives on 2022 Rebels I've seen. You hit every significant high point, and I agree with everything you said. However, there's even more there than most know. First, all the focus on Dart has caused people to overlook an extraordinary talent in Luke Altmyer. Why in the world people have brushed him off I'll never understand. The guy was solid 4-star, and he's got everything a top D1 QB needs to be elite, other than perhaps needing to add 10-20 lbs. I've not seen anything from Dart that makes me conclude he's a lock to the be the starter. Just watch. Altmyer is WAAAAY better than people know. Also, at tight end Ole Miss is f'ing STACKED. Not only do they have Trigg and Peguees, but they've got a 6'5" STUD named Hudson Wolfe that could start for any D1 team in the country. And don't overlook Casey Kelly. Backing up Zach Evans in a speed demon by the name of Ulysses Bently IV (what a GREAT name, huh?) that can carry the load. The best bet in the world right now is the Rebels O/U. I'm thinking about mortgaging my house.

@@lifeislikeaboxofchocolates5383 agree I could see another 10 win season at best, but next year would be the best bet for a playoff run imo. That being said I would be all in for this year too but we just have talent not experience in The system yet.

Ole Miss will not beat LSU in 2022. As LSU's inevitable starting QB, Garrett Nussmeier, was rated virtually the same as Jackson Dart out of high school and he will inevitably be a stud for LSU. As Nussmeier is a gunslinger and in which is just what LSU needs because LSU has the de facto best wide receiver room in the SEC. Then LSU's John Emery is not only bigger than Zach Evans, but also better at the same time. As Emery like Evans was a former five star and the number 2 rated running back in the country in the 247 composite. However, unlike Ole Miss, LSU also has a stacked running back rook to go along with Emery. Then LSU added two All-American offensive linemen to their roster via the transfer portal that will both start on their offensive line. In addition, LSU also lucked out when true freshman early enrollee Will Campbell emerged as the starter at left tackle in the spring and that enabled LSU to move last year's starting left tackle to right tackle to finish out their offensive line. Then to go along with all of those starters, LSU also has a whole slew of backup offensive linemen with plenty of starting and playing experience. Hence, LSU will field one of the better and one of the deepest offensive lines in the SEC in 2022. Then lastly, the tight ends will also be significantly better in 2022. Meanwhile, LSU's new OC, Mike Denbrock, and PGC, Cortez Hankton, are astronomically far better than last year's OC, Jake Peetz, and PGC, DJ Mangas, that were both very putrid last year. On defense, LSU will also have one of the best front sevens in the SEC. As all four starters on the defensive front four are projected to be first rounders in either the 2023 draft or in the 2024 draft. LSU's linebackers are also very good and very deep. Then former five-star Harold Perkins, one of the best recruits in the country in the last cycle, just came in to join the defense and probably will play in pass rush packages. Lastly, LSU's depleted defensive secondary has been completely rebuilt via the transfer portal with very highly touted and very experienced DB transfer talent giving LSU a very solid and very experienced defensive secondary to go along with that very good front seven. While LSU's new defensive staff under Defensive Coordinator, Matt House, is easily far better than the defensive staffs LSU had for the two previous season. Like I said, no way Ole Miss beats LSU in 2022. As LSU will be one of the top teams in the SEC West for 2022. However, don't tell anyone because Head Football Coach Brian Kelly is trying to keep it a secret so the splash it will make in the fall will be bigger.
I honestly couldn't read that and not laugh. Emery has not done anything of substance at LSU since he got there the same year Ealy did Ole Miss. Obviously the better one is already in the league and actually contributed to his team. Emery has only failed college courses and disagreed with coaches as his legacy thus far. I live in Baton Rouge and all I hear is him being a let down and them ONLY hoping he can put it together. He won't even be the starter after a few games. Now to follow that with Nussmeier has not separated himself in the race to start. There's a reason they went out and got Arizona States QB. Both Kelly and the new OC prefer a dual threat QB. Lastly, LSU has TWO receivers that have any useful game experience. Best is by far the most laughable statement you've said and you've given a lot to laugh at. You should really know more about your own team before commenting something that insanely ignorant.
