I think the swimming analogy just solved a large problem I had wrapping my head around this. Thank you Dan!!!

This video will probably work for most people to avoid the wrist bang but I had been following similar advice prior and almost gave up because I couldn't figure it out. Personally I had to learn the soft (sport) style snatch first to be able to wrap my head around not gripping the kettlebell too tight near the top of the lift with hard style. Now I can hardly recreate the wrist bang even if I try.
Thank you for all your content.

Always with the best break downs. Would love to take a Coach Dan class in person.

Brother even at your young age, your kettlebell snatch is buttery smooth! I strive to get mine that smooth!

Yeah... I remember being thoroughly confused by how easy he made everything look. Then I heard an interview where he spoke about how he's a high level athlete who continued to train through the years. No wonder he smokes these workouts. I love that the internet allows me to see real world examples of things/people I intend to be as I am blessed with aging.

Can you reshoot with the camera angled a little higher to see the top position?

Hey Dan, thanks for all the great tips, I was thinking about loaded carries and whether it would be of any benefit to walk up and down stairs as well as on the flat?

Me too. I've done that with the bell in the rack position. Does add some leg work. I don't think you should try to go too heavy though. Seems like it is easy to lose concentration on keeping everything tight.

I tried swimming with it, almost drowned. My jacket got ripped with the zipper technique, and I wasn’t able to hold the glass of milk with the kettlebell at the same time. Terribly unhelpful video!
Just kidding, I find some people naturally pick it up super fast with those cues, while others only start to figure it out as it gets heavier. I’ve really been enjoying your podcasts while I am out rucking with my dog.
