there are two RJ45 readers one supports WiFi and one supports Bluetooth. which one i should get if i need it for RV where i will not have wifi most of the time i would like to control and know what is going on while in the RV. does the wifi version also supports bluetooth or only wifi ? thank you for your help
Hi there, in Solar Guardian app, the WiFi D module supports both offline local monitoring and remote monitoring. To monitor offline, simply select "Local Connection" when logging in.
@@Epever i am not sure i understand your answer. if i buy the wifi connector do i must have wifi for it to work ? or does the wifi dongle has wifi and Bluetooth and when connecting i can decide what to work with ?
@@freundfamily2000 Maybe we didn't make it very clear: if you buy a WiFi connector, you don't have to have a WiFi network for it to work. It can also function as a Bluetooth module when you choose "Local connection". You can choose whether online monitoring (requires WiFi network) or local monitoring (no WiFi network) yourself.
I have a 3kw 24v Epever inverter and a 100A Epever charge controller. Both communicate with the wifi adapter. From the solar guardian app, only the production graph appears on the "overview" page, but the consumption graph does not appear, why?
Good evening, I want to tell you about my Solar driver, EPEVER - Accessory for charge controller for Tracer-AN, Tracer-BN, eTracer, iTracer, VS-A, AU, BN, LS-B, eBox-WIFI-01, it doesn't show me the consumption, so it's always 0. Can you help me somehow or recommend something that works with Bluetooth or WiFi? Thank you!
Hi there, could you let us know if you’re using the Solar Guardian app? If not, please download and use Solar Guardian, and you can log in directly with your current account and password. If you are using Solar Guardian but the power consumption is not displaying, please contact us at solarguardianfeedback@epever.com.
Hello there, one WiFi module is sufficient for a single device (controller/inverter/inverter charger). First, you will need a 2.4G WiFi router. The WiFi module needs to connect to this router in order to access the server. The second and third steps involve configuring the WiFi module with the SSID and password of the 2.4G WiFi network, enabling the WiFi module to connect to the router and thus to our server for communication. In the fourth step, connect your smartphone to your home WiFi, and the app will be able to communicate with the server, allowing you to monitor and configure the device using the app.
@@sahrullaharsyad3864 Hi there, if you need to remotely monitor the device, the WiFi module must be always connected to the router. Otherwise, remote monitoring will not be possible.
@@Epever I really don't know about that, but I have equipped the router and everything is connected well and now I can monitor from quite a distance wherever I am thnks
Come mai?
Hi there, the inverter does not track consumption data. If your controller is connected to loads, it will calculate consumption. From your description, it seems that there are no loads connected to the controller, which is why you're not seeing consumption data on the Solar Guardian app's main page.
Hi there, please send us a picture of your wifi module's label to solarguardianfeedback@epever.com, and then our support team will help you with this issue.

Did you guys break the App again ? Every few months, and you take this down and know one knows how to get it back working. This is why I'm only buying Victron and EG4 now.

Hi there, due to the limited content of the video, we weren’t able to cover all the information. For controllers with built-in Bluetooth, you’ll need to select "Local Connection". The connection process is similar to WiFi. For more details, please contact our Solar Guardian support team at solarguardianfeedback@epever.com, and our engineers will send you a detailed step-by-step guide. Thank you!
