it opens pretty early. 6 or 7am if I recall. Stays open until 9am I believe. You should verify when you get on board. I do not know about how many passes are sold etc. I know for us we went everyday. usually between 8 - 10 am. We had maybe 5 to 15 people at any given time. Never felt crowded or pressured in anyway. It was a great experience.
For us yes. We do it now on any of the big ships with the nice co-ed spas. We don't do excursions anymore so it offsets the price. We spend 1-2 hours every morning in the spa.
