In India we know about these things from our Parents, Grandparents, Temples, festivals, gurus, books, movies and life in general. There are several practices in India and a lot of knowledge. People are not that involved like before, but most Indians get to experience this one way or the other.

Shakti(primordial goddess) is the creation aspect and shiva(that which is not) is consciousness. Shakti is energy, nature, mother- everything material and which we expereince. Shiva is what makes experience register. You can think of energy/mass and dark matter(not energy) though not that apt.
One of the things that is strength and weakness of bharat is decentralized nature of living. Generally, people don't 'study' scriptures. We experience them through festivals. Search how many festivals Bharat actually has, you'll be shocked. Of course, those who are intrested can certainly study and engage in intellectual discourse, but generally it is an unseperable part of cultural activities.
For example, kitchen- 'masala' is actually herbal spices that have special properties when mixed the right amount. Every mother in Indian household knows how to get it right, but most of them won't be able to explain why it's good for you.
Offering water to sun in morning - You start your day by offering water to the first sun rays in a copper vessel. Traditionalists claim that copper vessel charges the water with valence electrons, causing special diffraction of sunlight. Even if that is not true, it's scientifically proven that first rays of sun activate primordial circuits in our brain, releasing feels good chemicals.

shiva (male, consciousness) and shakti (female, nature, energy) are consorts. it is believed that shiva resides in the brain (consciousness is in brain) while shakti after creation of human body goes into sleep at base of spinal cord. in kundalini yog through various practices sleeping shakti is awakened and when she is awakened she becomes fierce (if person is abruptly awakened from sleep he will get angry) and moves in all direction. through yogic practice shakti is made to move upwards and pierce each chakra and finally reach brain where shiva resides. union of shiva and shakti is yoga and final stage samadhi of astanga yog. if kundalini yog is done without guidance then it could damage person's mind body etc.

We learnt it by listening to them told by our parents or grand parents as much as fit for kids. As we grew older we appreciated them better. Sadly, we are getting westernized and solitary and these stories and story telling are fading away. But even now we have animated comic books on our 'fables', and some children learn from them. Personally, I feel anguished at the gradual loss of our heritage to donut and pizza and soda culture.

I see - this is super cool about the stories I mean - we all are getting there - certain country is very good at exporting thier culture. However, I think the reason why it works is because they allow freedom in thinking and not force things that are nonsensical and traditional on people. If someone is rude to you and they are a part of your family - cut them out - why should someone be disrespectful to another being like that. Or why would I need to be treated badly as a woman and disrespected by a husband because everyone else has done it - and I think this is where the power lies. Building people's emotional maturity and understanding we are not each other's slaves and should treat each other with respect and not only pretend in front of the community that we do but be a genuinely good person.

@@zuzanareacts In fact it is called Yog in scriptures and by the Indians in day-to-day life. You can search on RUclips how to pronounce it although it is pretty straightforward, if you know how to pronounce Yoga then just remove the aa sound from the end. It is a Sanskrit word which roughly translates to addition in English. Yoga is an anglicized word from Yog like Karma from Karm, Dharma from Dharm, Krishna from Krishn, and Rama from Ram, and there and many more so it would be more authentic if you pronounce it Yog though if you still want to pronounce it Yoga that is also fine as long as one is getting the essence of the word. I don't think I'm maybe explaining myself - as my words can be twisted and turned but I trust you are able to see what I'm trying to say.

@@zuzanareacts you are speaking of freedom and openness. Freedom in any form or context works best when it is within the bounds of rules if not it is just anarchy. And rules and law are enforced if not followed.
Try being born and raised in a society which is in constant state of invasion for more than a 1000 years and you will understand the present problems of India. Our society has been messed up because of our resent past. But then again in our culture there is a concept of collective karma of a society, so we shall face the consequences. Can't really complain because of this and have to suck it up.
Coming back to freedom and openness in relations. A parents DUTY is to raise and cultivate a child properly and a childs DUTY is to obey and look after their parents if not you don't deserve to be called a parent or a child. And what the hell is even an open marriage? Why are you even marying and sullying a noble relation. What the hell is having sexual relations with multiple people. You are a human being and not an animal. There Is A Difference.

Adi shakti is the primordial female energy of the entire universe which created the universe like a mother creates a child. Entire energy of universe comes from that one mother only, like all mitochondria of a human comes only from mother and not any other being. And that energy translates itself into matter and virtually everything in the universe.
Just like the father gives only the seed of a baby (sperm) the male god only gives the seed of the creation which is a formula like DNA. The rest everything like materials, energy, work in building the universe and maintaining it comes from the divine mother just like the child gets nourishment, energy, and space in mother's womb.
Adi Shakti is the divine mother of the universe. (You can read about Shiva-shakti to understand more)

To simply explain "Adi Sakthi" you could say that she is the consort of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva does not have a Start of End. This the reason why when we go to a Shiva temple we do not do a full parikarma of the temple. For Lord Shiva to be complete Adi Shakthi has to be with him. This is also known by the concept of "Arthanareeswara" (Depicted by the image of 1/2 of Shiva and 1/2 of Goddess Parvati together) . Adi Shakthi possesses immense powers which some say are even bigger than the powers of Lord Shiva himself. Once she gets angry the only personality that could calm her down is Lord Shiva himself. Adi Shakti, also known as Devi or the Divine Mother, is the supreme goddess in Hinduism and is believed to be the source of all creation and power. (This is my limited knowledge)

And after Independence when we had the oppurtunitues, ruling parties who themselves were western slaves threw the education systems into the hands of Liberals. In my school days I studied 90% about invaders and florigen revolutions etc. After the invention of Internet and creation of various social media platforms, now it is good to see these knowledges are being unearthed and shared. Also I think the present Govt is making an effort to redesign our educational system to incorporate these original knowledges as well. However I was fortunate enough to read a lot of such books from my father's home library which made me more curious and pursue further learning and some practices which I am still doing.

If even 50% of indians are aware of these knowledge, India would have been in a much better place in the global stage. Fortunately people are more aware nowadays so better times for India is ahead.
Edit: i myself had no idea about these things before and i had to learn it myself from various sources. I am happy that many more indians are awaking to this knowledge.

as you saw previous documentary on NALANDA MAHAVIHARA (UNIVERSITY) ..which used to be the centre of knowledge in asia...and buddhism...but when islamic invaders came to BHARAT they started targetting temples and killing our temple priest..BUT before islamic inavasion..we used to have small vedic school which is called GURUKULS when our ancestors used to get thosse kind of knowledge but after islamic invasion AND under muslim rulers those VEDIC SCHOOLS were banned from teaching those things...and then british rule came ...and we were kept away from our vedic knowledge for thousands of years ..even today these things are not taught...there are very few places in india where students could learn SANSKRIT lesson..99% school are more focused in teaching english..

Maa Adi Shakti is divine feminine form of God. She is everything our universe and other universes , our planet and living beings everything is because of Maa Shakti. Other feminine forms of goddess came from Maa Shakti. She simply represents whole women kind on this earth or I would say in this material world. Moreover when we say after reaching at Chita’s state we become God it has a very deep meaning. We humans come on top of food chain and we have to attain higher levels of consciousness in this human birth to reach God before death. Thus it’s crucial to do meditation and Bhakti with full devotion to reach enlightenment. And always remember we are part of God and not separate or have individual identity. But true knowledge can only be gained through yog sadhna, dhyana and complete surrender to God. 🙏🏻

Pashupati translates to master/lord of animals. Shiva is often called Pashupati, the one who has gained control over his senses and is not a slave to sensual pleasures.

When you invoke and gather so much energy it can connect you with the universe you can hear things that no other can you can see many things so it's like exploring portal of power but if you invoke any kind of energy you know how to deal with that's dangerous most of the time people do tantra or kundalini yoga for material success and mystic powers but if they don't have credible guru then they loose their mind sometimes lost their life so those things really tricky and dangerous that's why most of Indians don't go on that path because it's not easy to find a actual guru and those things required time if you are a family person then it's touff to balanced both you have to gradually increase your energy but we believe in those things generally public is more attract toward what can be done by those things in material world that's not spritual it's more of a greed please stay away if someone sell you course of those things

28:07 We are not usually taught all this deep or profound stuff. At younger ages we only know the stories of Rāmāyana or Māhābhārata😅. So you can say that in these things we are left like a blank slate😅, And I think it's a good thing, because If we are a clean slate only then when we mature or develop understanding of things, we can choose our own path without any bias, which suits us better, as per our respective personalities and perspectives.
The process of learning about these profound things is usually voluntary on our part when we develop the understanding.

This knowledge was taught from childhood via Gurukuls run by temples till 300 years ago. British knew our strength and drained out money from our temples.
British wanted only English speaking servants hence opened convent schools that produced fools like Gandhi and Nehru. Still our 4Lakh Math and Mandirs r under Gov controll till date.
The only way to revive this knowledge system is via Gurukuls only run by temples.
When I say through temples it's very important, that brings element of non profitablity and devotion in teachers and student.

New generation knows ramayana, mahabharata only from the tv shows which were shown in altered manner to suit there agenda and these tapics were intentionally skipped or altered to build perspective that it is old and nothing important in it. And most of the time they tried to change the perspective very cleavetly in subtle way and was being consumed by this generation unkowingly.
When you read the scriptures and compare with shows you will find how these show makers changedd the perspective of everything iin subtle way.

    Hey Zuzana,
Aadi Shakti(translates to 'primary/first energy' in Sanskrit) refers to feminine aspect of universe, often represented through Devis(goddesses) in Hinduism.
Shiva is the consort of Shakti. Shiva here represents the masculine aspect.
As per some scholars, Shiva represents consciousness and Shakti represents energy. Both come together for the sustenance of the universe. 😊

      @hpfanforever2012 11 месяцев назад

@zuzanareacts There is no difference! Adi Shakti is the energy aspect of the formless Brahman and that is basically seen as the sacred feminine, so all Goddesses are part of Adi Shakti.
And all the masculine Gods are the Purusha aspect of the Brahman. By Purusha we mean consciousness here.
So Yoga is basically the meeting of Shakti and Purusha or the energy and consciousness of a human being to realise 'Aham Bhramasmi' or 'I am Brahman', basically to understand your divine nature.
