I think if Lombard had lived longer, she would have become a big producer/director, maybe even running her own studio. She had been working in the biz since her early teens and she was smart and savvy. She was an independent freelancer and was the highest paid actor at one time, which is saying a lot back in the 1930s. She could have broken the glass ceiling along with Ida Lupino, Mary Pickford, and other females who were working in that capacity. She could have stood toe to toe with any male counterpart in that position like Louie B Mayer or Jack Warner and not have batted an eye. I'm sure that was one of the many qualities Gable loved about her.

Kay Spreckels, his last wife, should be given a lot of credit because she never tried to replace herself with Carole Lombard, but lived with the ghost. They never mentioned that she also gave him a son. Carole Lombard was close friends with Lucille Ball, and I think that shaped Lucille Ball's future quite a bit.

Lucille Ball was a Freemason satanist communist.
They used Carole for what they wanted to use her for. So apparently she was a satanist too.
They kill any who won’t go fully along with them. Like Marylin Monroe, Michael Jackson was turning against them, Robin Williams, Joan Rivers....Senator Nancy Schaffer, JFK, n etc.....
They were all freemasons but these were traitors in their attitudes n not fully of these satanists n cracked their mouths against this secret society.

@Dave La Violette: I actually read, in the 2016 book, "Fireball", that she, Kay, TRIED to BE Carole Lombard and that was why Clark Gable was attracted to her. Clark Gable kept the ranch he and Carole Lombard had, (on Hollywood Boulevard, no less!!), until his death, but once he died, Kay sold it right away.

And yes she was very beautiful in natural features. Very much like a Greek sculpture- straight nose, big expressive blue eyes, arching brows, beautiful cheekbones. You should look at her 1930s and 1940s work especially. The 50s had some horrible hairdos and makeup but by the 60s she looked incredible again, particularly for an older woman.

The blame has been put on Carole's shoulders for being in rush to get back to LA. But she wasn't the one flying the plane, nor was she the air traffic controllers who turned off the airport lights out of fear of being bombed by the Japanese. Let that sink in. Sure, she was in a rush; sure, she had a jealous streak, but she didn't fly the plane into a mountain. But let her death be a lesson: no matter how angry you are at your spouse, tell them what's in your heart before you leave for the day. Because you may never get another chance.

The USAAF top-brass feared Gable joining the American 8th Airforce, was Gables personal “death wish.” And that if he died in combat it would be a propaganda coup for Goebbels and the German Luftwaffe.
It was said that Hitler put a bounty over Gables head, to which ever Luftwaffe pilot who shoot down Gables plane. Gable made a publicity film about the air war over Germany, and got wounded in the foot and was then shipped back home.

I have a story that my REAL, Birth mother. When my mother was pregnant with me she was ONLY 17 1/2 at the time in 1963. When my mother started really showing she was sent to a Catholic Nuns place for UN-WED mothers for almost 4+ months up until she gave birth to me. When I was born I was given to a family so I could have a REAL chance at life with them. Anyway, my birth mother told me that she was visited several times by Loretta Young as she was a sponsor for the facility. My birth mother took great comfort in that she had made the right choice in giving me up for adoption by Ms. Young. When several decades had passed I finally met my birth mother when I was almost 40. That took GREAT courage in what she had done for me.
