Hi all! Another SNES hidden gem to share with the LPA community. I had a blast playing this game. I wasn't going to finish it in one sitting, but once I got about halfway through I was hooked and knew I had to finish it then and there haha. The translation is also excellent for this game as it felt very natural in English to me at least. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this game had been made within the last 10 years and popped up on my steam discovery or something like that. It aged pretty well! The characters and story were actually quite good! Finding the god of each element, collecting them all, and using the powers to continue through the levels and defeat the bosses. Simple and classic, but well executed so it worked very well and I actually cared about the story while playing which is not usually the case especially with older games! The combat and abilities is where I feel this game was really ahead of its time. You can switch immediately to any of the gods weapons/abilities allowing for really smooth and customizable combat and gameplay. The layout of each level is not too big but they make it feel big and it's easy to get lost while exploring, but in a good way. Lots of little items and stuff to discover. I enjoyed the visuals and the sounds too and overall I would definitely recommend this game to any SNES fans, it was another hidden gem. I feel like I've gotten really lucky lately just taking chances on old games I've never heard of. Hope you enjoy!
