Alcohol, the one drug that's socially acceptable, but destroys the most lives out of all drugs.

Vietnam and Afghanistan are representations of alcohol warfare. The boomers lost both.

All drugs should be declared poisonous and destructive for humans.

No dude, what about the good ones? listen, is not about the substance itself, its about the dosage. everything on a high dosage may be harmful even the water!. We need to educate people from the school about drugs, not just cover their eyes and scare them away, but actually show the science behind, information is the key

There's a private liquor store every block and places like Super Store and Costco have their own liquor stores in a separate building on the same parking lot so it's almost as convenient as having it in the main store.
I think variety would suffer because there's no room to fit all that alcohol into the existing footprint of the main store

Ontario doesmt have private liquor stores nor do they have a liquor store owner by a grocery store that is attached to said store. Calgary has alcohol far more accessible than anywhwre in Ontario

Is this really a problem? Almost every grocery store has a liquor store right beside it or in the same plaza

Good decision. Small rural grocery stores often have their kids working as a cashier in the store and alcohol sales would have prevented them from working.

Better than Ontario where Doug Ford paid out 225+ million in taxpayer money to get alcohol into convenience, grocery stores etc. a year earlier than planned.

Canadians lost jobs, cars, homes, and our country. Now, the Canadian government is making is it harder to get the last bit of solace, drugs and alcohol.
What kind of government is this? Did we pay tax just to import Indians?

No way. I'm pulling the climate card on this one. Stop making people drive further out of their way for a product that is legal retail. Logically it makes no sense. Plenty of places in this country offer liquor sales anywhere right down to your local gas station. That's the way it should be.
