    My cousin used to eat the beans out of the pot as a kid, the beans are so good, the bean soup with fresh cheese and a tortilla is amazing, my grandma used to make us beans pupusas so simple but so good. I miss the food, the bread, the tortillas etc. We also add mint to the refried beans.

    the rice and beans mix that you ordered is called casamiento (marriage) however the version you tasted is quite different because the beans are kind like the ones they use for pupusa , the real casamiento is usually made with the beans without being smashed and rice

      No, de hecho ese es el verdadero casamiento. el que se hace con frijoles que no están licuados se llaman divorsiados, antes estaban bien diferenciados, hoy a ambos le llaman casamiento.

    The chicken is Santa Tecla dish. Ingredients: tomatoes, onions garlic, Relajo (bunch of seeds like sesame, peanuts, punkin seed, and also orange peel, loro leaf, and other things that I don’t remember.

      been here all my life and I only know of one place that sells them and I've never had them, they are an protected species so it's illegal to have them in captivity, let alone eating them

      A staple means it’s important in people’s everyday lives and I’m from El Salvador and I have eaten Iguana once in my entire life, but who knows, maybe if you live in oriente or the country side you eat it more.

    Las croquetas no tienen huesos, es un pedazo de tortilla frita por lo que puede comerse. That´s not a bone.. .it is fried tortilla, so, you can eat it.

    Albondigas is name of the meat ball and we eat it with rice and tortilla .pollo guisado is name of chicken with tomato sauce and with also eat it with Tortilla and rice .

    as someone who does IT repair work, i've seen 2015 MacBook Pros get *cooked* from local college kids just using their computers for school and basic ass video streaming. the fact this thing's still going after being used for video editing and exporting/rendering is nuts. you take good care of your shit. i have like, second-hand pride over that.

    They import those beans Rio Grande brand, frijol de seda in Latin American supermarkets. Boil with salt and garlic, then blend them in a blender, then fry onions, remove onions from oil, refry the beans add salt while frying to taste. You making me wanna go back just for the food.

    Also i would recommend you to drink right before bed time psyllium husk original coarse to help you digest and process and poop very whell the a lot of starches from the corn meals since you are heavy pupusa eater, psyllium husk would not let your colon to be saturated from sticky corn masa meals

    hey long story short...how did you get there? plane then bus? where did you fly into. my dad has a road sign with his name on it when he was doing missionary work long ago and i want to plan on seeing it. its funny cause its 13 letters long. it was a modern road sign when it was put up on the dirt road he helped orchestrate
